I think he deserves a penalty for that. Jenson left him room, but he went straighter onto the run off so he could get better acceleration and take the place.

Vettel never even tried to keep on track, went for the off-track pass all the way. Should be punished.

You are clearly biased. That was as clear an unclean overtake as you'll see. As Mike said, the run off is for running off, not for overtaking. Jenson left him room and stuck to his line.

I said he did, but Button did skid out after the hairpin. I know it wasn't intentional.

If Vettel was there, both of them would have been taken out. Vettel take evasive manuvoure to avoid him and also pass him off the track.

I'm not defending Vettel or anything.
It's up for the steward to give him the penalty or not.

Well done Alonso, Button, Kimi, unfortunate for Lewis but that's F1 i guess... if it wasn't for bad luck, some would have no luck at all.

There should be a rule preventing lapped cars from unlapping themselves when they're clearly faster only because of better tires.
