If anyone has virgin media, but not the sky sports package then for this weekend only they are allowing everyone access to all sky sports channels, including the HD ones I think.
So you can watch the German grand prix live as opposed to highlights :)

I wonder who Fernando will be faster than this weekend. :dopey: Anyway, i think this is the last race before the summer break, so Im gonna savour it.

Alonso is a big headed complaining spaniard... I'm just saying the guy always complains about the car... "if you look for perfection you will never be content"... I mean hey, if he is too good for this car... Then why doesn't he go to another team...
Oh and before you guys even think of commenting about this... I happen to live in spain :D

Wha are you even basing these claims on? People are so biased against Fernando.

When the MP4-27 was launched, she was a stunner. When they introduced the uplifted nose, it looked a little silly. Now that they've got the Germany upgrades going, she rivals Anne Hathaway in the looks department:

Beautiful.

I'm just basing it on what he usually tells the press so they feel sorry for a dude who wins more than 20 000 000 $ a year when spain has more then a 25% unemployment statistic (only counting people under 27 years old) :sly:

But he hasn't really complained whatsoever this year. Sure a few years back he was like that but this year and even most of last year he hasn't been negative.

... "if you look for perfection you will never be content"...

If you sit still in this game, you get left behind. The guy out in front has the most to lose, so he's just looking out for his own tail.

McLaren looks sweet....lets hope for the championship, it performs that way too.

So what do you think that Vettel is saying to the Red Bull team - "The car is perfect guys. You dont need to do any upgrades. Go to the pub and have a beer instead." ?

I just can't agree more with that statement. 👍

Penalty for Webber too? It's going to be Vettel and Hamilton on the front row.

This is getting ridiculous. They need to change the gearbox rule.

Any streaming for free practice 3? Google is not my friend.

Woop! Rain, and lots of it. Qualifying should be interesting :)

Alonso's fastest in the 3rd practice session with Hamilton 2nd.

At least I am not stood in it this time.

Hope its not another wash out though.

The English weather; don't even get me started... :grumpy:

Next week has been predicted to be good at least...

Qualifying could favour anybody, the track will be wet, teams don't have much data, the rain may stop, etc. There are all sorts of factors that make the qualifying torally unpredictable.

I just hope Alonso doesn't get pole though.

On Sky Sports F1 they brought up a table which showed how the championship would look if points were only awarded for qualifying.

1st. Hamilton 165 points :D
2nd. Vettel 108 points

I think Alonso was on about 60, it shows how important strategy and race pace is this year.

Can't believe how few people are in this thread....

Points should be awarded for Qually. Obviously not 25/18 etc but maybe 6 points for 1st 4 for 2nd 2 for 3rd.

I agree that at least a few points should be awarded for setting the fastest time of the weekend, It would stop people from saving tyres in qualifying aswell.

Grosjean is struggling, but Raikkonen is first. Red bulls aren't doing too great either!!

Schumi is all the way down the bottom as well!!

Schumacher making it exciting on hards and 17th place.

Oh and Raikönnen 7 tenths faster than anyone else, ON HARDS!

Wow, Schumacher and Grosjean just barely making it through.

Weird Q1, look who was in trouble there, Webber, Vettel, Perez, Grosjean, Schumi.

Even weirder is the fact Kimi was top yet Grosjean 17th...

The rain is coming in Q2 just like it was at Silverstone 2 weeks ago.
