No safety car in front, so standing start?

Edit: nevermind, it was just really far out front

But then he goes and blames it on the car instead of on the track
Sorry, for one race? I meant for 10 minutes.
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

No further action for Hamilton - seems fair, but bad for Kimi, esp. with the standing restart...

Ah man, I feel bad for Hadjar. But Gasly gooooooooooo! Sainz nooooooooo!

If Hadjar doesn't get a penalty, he'll still be P3

Edit: A red flag infringement doesn't help though

New investigation against Hadjar. Red flag infringement

So I guess Hadjar will stand on the podium, but then lose it afterwards

RB had the engine cover off changing something, maybe thats the penalty.

Perez seriously didn't park himself in the wrong spot again?!

E: Out of position, so not the wrong spot but that's so sloppy

Has Linblad pitted yet?

Didn't need to because of the red flag. The rule isn't a mandatory pitstop, it's that you have to use 2 tire compounds.

Well, they got full distance on the parade, but the parade was an embarrassment. Don't tell F1 that, they don't understand the word.

Not that he really had nothing left to prove, but Antonelli is ready.

He will win it all.

That's gonna cost Cadillac their first point.

Instead Alonso gets it.

Chaotic race. I don't even know who finished where, outside of P1 and P2... so many penalties. Guess I'll find out for sure later today.

Kimi was so dominant. Damn.

Well done to Lewis.

Max "finished" P22. He might be one of the few drivers with zero penalties as well.

Listened on the radio as on holiday in Greece. All I can say is that I enjoyed napping in the sun for laps 2-30 more than napping on the sofa for the majority of the Monaco GP 😂😂

Unless his performance went off a serious cliff for the remainder of the season, Kimi is the new champion this year and honestly, he's freaking impressive. I don't care what he says but honestly Russell has no answer for Kimi's speed. When I saw Kimi won China, I thought good job man but don't put the pressure on too soon so don't worry about the championship. But now with 5 wins on the bounce....if he doesn't win it after all that, I'm sure he would be more than disappointed with himself. So I'm watching him now for that championship cause that was awesome!

Kimi is setting records and joining the elite clubs, 5 in a row that doesn't happen by accident if you look historically

Pretty sure during the broadcast, they shared every driver who has won 5 in a row is a World Champion & won the championship in the years they achieved it.

So, good outlook for Kimi.

I checked the stats, and the only thing that comes close to an exception was Rosberg having a 7 win streak which started in 2015 when he didn't win the championship, but still ended in 2016 when he did get the championship. And he wasn't at 5 by the end of the 2015 season.

Indeed everyone won the championship in the season that they reached a 5 win streak.

Edit: There's now a document stating what the red flag infringement was for Hadjar:
The team was working on parts they're not allowed to work on, but they did stop and revert their work when notified. No parts were changed.

Keen eye from IforceV8.

A 10 second penalty for Hulkenburg for causing a collision with Sainz elevates Perez to 10th and Cadillac's first point... for now, pending his own post-race investigation for being out of position at the second start.
