And a yellow flag infringement. Ferrari saw a 1-2 for the taking and decided to abandon it.
 
So now Kimi finishes outside the points, and Ferrari boned Lewis out of P2. Awesome. 😑
 
Yeah. The amount of controversies with F1 are mounting to a point where teams need to intervene.

Leclerc finally ended his bad luck by winning the race.... with the Safety Car. Such a missed opportunity by Ferrari by not having a 1-2 finish.
 
I guess Leclerc is now the lead driver at Ferrari as they decided Hamilton cannot finish 2nd for.... "intelligent" reasons.
 
If I was Ford, I'd be saying to Max "fancy a hypercar drive? We promise it'll be better than what you're driving now".

And yeah, the end is farcical.

I was prepared for another Kimi win, with Lewis being boned by his false start, and Max somewhere up in there.

Great drive from Charles. Good to see Lewis on the podium in front of the home crowd, even with that pit.

Norris P4 makes me less annoyed. Sucks for Piastri.

Another solid showing from the Racing Bulls.

Alpine double points?! Nice.

The fun part is they already did a couple years ago. Scheduling conflict & wont happen until 2028 at the earliest.
 
Well, that was a hugely disappointing ending. There was no need to keep the safety car out that long! 🤦‍♂️

As much as I was rooting for Lewis, today was not a good day for him at all and now he will be under investigation too after the race, risking ending completely out of the points.

Total Heartbreak for Kimi!!

But that means the championship is definitely still on...so good for us F1 fans!

Was prepared to call this another Silverstone classic but that ending proved to be sadly anticlimactic. Happy to see Charles turn the luck around at least.
And as always, was fantastic to watch them drive around this track for about 95% of that race. Championship fight is still on 🥳
 
I would argue that Ferrari actually made a brilliant call and then got screwed by the FIA pulling the rug out from under everybody. We were going back green to the point of having the official onscreen graphics saying SC Ending…and then we weren’t.

My thoughts exactly. For once I dont think the fumble was on Ferrari
