Could have, but what possible benefit would that have had for a race that hadn't started? Let's just get rid of the most exciting part of the GP..
We would be watching a race right now instead of cars parked on the grid.

I like the fact that the most technologically advanced race cars on earth risk melting down if left idling for more than 30 seconds.

Will their be an accident on Turn 1/Turn 2?

Well even your car will do this with no cooling fans.

Shockingly clean first lap. Gooooooooooooo! 😮

It's like you get the point I'm trying to make but you refuse to get it at the same time...

Max will pass next lap.
Just cut the distance by half.

The audacity of Verstappen, that was naughty? Sod off.

Wonder if Ferrari will restructure their team and make Sainz #1.

Verstappen trying to go for a gap that doesn't exist again. He loves doing it at that corner.

Prediction: Carlos will over defend take him and Max off track and Max will moan about it and people will remind him "what you never been naughty before?"

Ferrari have enough speed to keep up with RB 2xDRS

Max just needs to be in striking distance. Ferrari still has to make a pit stop.

So far Sainz has his thinking cap on. The start move and that block now was spot on, but who knows how long those tires will last. :scared:

Leclerc needs to stay on it. He already dropped out of the DRS zone once.

As does RB.

RB have the odds here.

They do fastest pitstops out of anyone
They rarely screw up

Ferrari pitstops are average
They screw up often.

They all have to make pit stops.

That wasn't my point. @Grayfox sort of got my point as I was more stating that Ferrari makes more mistakes on pit road.

Russell and Perez have both missed the corner.

Ferrari putting the team first?
Thats a good joke.

There have been times where places should've been swapped but they didn't

Sainz and Russell need to pit ASAP.

Max is in the lead. This now frees up my afternoon to cut the lawn brb.
