1st Place - pezzarinho17 (FIS/Honda)
Q: Your first victory of the season pulls you within 9 points of optiongamers. Was this one race an anomaly because of the circuit type or can you beat him again?
pezzarinho17: No doubt the circuit played to the strengths of the Honda engine, but we have been on the right course all season and with some better strategy decisions and luck we should have found ourselves on the podium more often, if not the top step of it. There is still over half the season to go, and we hope now to be competitive in all of those remaining races.
Q: It seems your car has gotten quicker every round. Is developing the car key to your success?
pezzarinho17: Of course, you can't still in Formula B Spec and expect everyone else to walk backwards. The learning curve seen by everyone so far in season 2 suggests that we are not the only ones feeling there is still a lot of time to be found yet and we want to be the first to find it.
Q: Peasantslayer was shadowing you for most of Monaco until his incident in turn 1. Was he a little too close for comfort or do you feel your car had speed to burn when needed?
pezzarinho17: Any other circuit, and I would have said yes. In Monaco though, it is always difficult to maintain any gap that you can build. Our pace was very even throughout and I would have liked to see the fight last to the finish, but catching is one thing and passing another. I feel we would have won regardless, and instead the fans were denied that battle, and Honda a landmark 1-2-3 finish.
Q: Do you think your car will perform well again at Silverstone circuit?
pezzarinho17: I think so, it is another race that we won last year and it is important to maintain momentum. We may have been written off in the post race interview in Montreal by OptionGamers, but we have had good consistency throughout the season and don't see that changing. We'll have the home support behind us along with Monaco's result, and we would love to reward the fans with a second home victory on our way to our second championship!
2nd Place - AJHG1000 (FIS/Honda)
Q: What changed at Monaco for you to secure a very strong 2nd place finish?
AJHG1000: Actually, nothing did happen, the car was running consistently and stayed out of trouble, we knew it was certain we were going to finish in 3rd place at the end of the race, but then
@Peasantslayer committed that mistake that unfortunately costed him the podium, it'd be great if it was a podium full of Honda engined cars.
Q: Can you consistently battle the top Honda teams from here on out?
AJHG1000: I really hope so, we have proven that if we make a good setup, the car can be fighting at the top.
Q: Do you think your car has what it takes to eventually win?
AJHG1000: Let's work for it and hope for the best.
Q: What is your confidence level at going forward?
AJHG1000: We're more confident at our capabilities, but we have to work to get results like this again.
3rd Place - Frizbe (FIS/Porsche)
Q: Your first podium in 9 races and the first for Porsche this season. What is it going to take for you finish one of these things at the top of the podium?
Frizbe: Well it's going to take some work from the engineers and definitely a lot of work on the driving part but I'm confident we'll get it nailed down by the end of the season and I promise you we will be on the top spot by the close of the season.
Q: One might say you are the fastest Porsche team. Do you feel the Balance of Performance has been fair to the Porsche teams or do you feel you have been at a disadvantage from the start?
Frizbe: I do think the balance of performance is been a little skewed this season obviously looking at the manufactures championship should tell you all you need to know for that one but it's a learning season for everybody I'm confident that the balance of performance will get figured out I'm just hoping for Porsche and everybody back at the factory that it's done pretty quickly here so we can get back in the running for the manufactures championship.
Q: Hows the progress on the car is there any development left or are you happy where you are?
Frizbe: We're never happy with where the car is there's always development to be done so rest assured there will be improvements throughout the rest of the season.
Q: What can we expect from your car at Silverstone?
Frizbe: Well we've done pretty good at these high-speed tracks so I think will do a rather good showing here at Silverstone but we've got to make some radical changes if are going to get to that top spot so you can expect to see a new focus from us here in Silverstone
Randomized Interview (has not been interviewed before and did not DNF)
12th Place - BKGlover (FIS/Ferrari)
Q: You were so strong in Australia. What happened?
BKGlover: Drove two laps without one wing, still losing time three races later. Not a mirror of last season, but the trend is still negative. Fitting for me, about par for how things have always been, decent early and start fading immediately.
Q: What are you plans to turn this team around?
BKGlover: Well, there's paying for the car that ended up in the harbor first. Considering the strategy last season resulted badly as well, I don't know. Right now, the hope is that we use this car for a few seasons until I possibly grasp the concept of how to set these up right.
Q: You're sort of buried in the standings. Do you have any goals for the rest of the season?
BKGlover: See how much faster I can drive after being set alight. Try not to start drinking. Figure out why Ferrari keeps sending me engines. Probably a number of others, but we know what the race results will be. Is this how Williams felt during the years with BMW?
Q: Silverstone is next. How do you expect your car to perform there?
BKGlover: I expect nothing but overarching failure, as has been the results thus far.
