In Formula Gran Turismo, can race with Ferrari F1 2010/2007 or only with Formula Gran Turismo? 💡

I'm ready to buy it but my level is stuck on 25 and a half. Every race I do to push it up gives me barely any XP. Really frustrating.

I've been after the Formula GT car for a long time, you need to be lvl24 to buy it, im 25 A-spec and 28 B-spec and i've checked after every event and have not seen it yet, i saw it last at lvl22. It's kinda ridiculous how much of a lottery it is to even get the opportunity to buy the car, i want to compete in the event bah.

They should let you use the Ferrari F1 cars, atleast then it would be doable without winning the lottery.

Lack only the Formula Gran Turismo for i close the Extreme Series in A-spec and B-spec.

I do not see the hour to buy this car and finish this Series event!

Why is it that the Formula GT event is level 23 but the car you need for that series is level 24?

saw it last week but I was level 23 and needed to be level 24, I checked the lot after every race/championship and it took me over a week before I saw it again. worth the wait though, the car kicks ass.

there is a trick to cycle through the used car lot faster. There are 30 used cars in the lot at any given time (2 columns of 15). after every 'loading bar' the game will load in 6 new cars (3 rows of 2). Basically to cycle an entire new list just go to license tests, and load up b-1, as soon as its loaded click next license, and so on until you reach b-5. this will be 5 'loading bar' screens....at that point simply exit out of license tests and check the used car lot for 30 new entries. about 2.5 minutes of time nets you 30 new selections in the car lot so hopefully it will make it a little easier to find the needle in the haystack so to speak.

There's a quicker way to get the Formula GT but it still requires a bit of patience. Firstly make sure you have over 4.8m cr to buy it, then go to licence test and select a test but instead of starting it select 'next licence', repeat this 4 times and the used car lot will be totally refreshed. Like I said it still takes some patience but I got it within a couple of hours as opposed to a few days waiting for it to just show up.

The ferrari f10 '10 is around 300hp LESS than the formula GT!

Finished the B-Spec FGT Championship last night. Really long, but really easy for some reason (You can't upgrade the FGT). Lapped the field in every race.

^I have for every other race. I think this one is because I'm on soft tires, and the computer is on hard or medium, which wear out at the same rate. Perhaps because my bob is a high enough level, but likely the tires.

I'm not sure why the tire restriction is Racing: Soft, and not "Unrestricted."

Man this FGT Championship is easily the best in the game. It's actually a challenge. It's high speed and intense and requires really good consistency. This gives me a LOT of respect for real F1 drivers. Damn.

Positive. The races are juuuuust long enough to make you pit, either for fuel or for tires, and everyone pits within a lap of each other, including my Bob (automatically).

In B-Spec, you can change the focus to another car. This tells you their tires, tire wear, fuel, and if they're going to pit this lap. Unrealistic, but helpful.

I know alot about F1 as it goes, and no the FGT cars would not lap the F1 cars, the F1 cars are superior aerodynamically to the FGT which was designed based on the early 00's F1 cars, the FGT has been around and unchanged since GT3 back in 2001 and the AI drivers are slow as ****, a little bit of extra power will not help them at all. Take into account that the 2004 F1 cars were extremely powerful, yet the lower powered 2010 cars reached a level aerodynamically that allowed them to run faster laptimes than the holder of most of the lap records the 2004 car. The 2004 cars were running over 900bhp, the current cars are only putting out around 750bhp. Aerodynamics mean everything.

Theres more than enough to outweigh the difference. I've been driving road cars against AI in racing cars and winning, i was able to beat the FGT in gran turismo 4 with LMP cars, i'm pretty sure i would slaughter the AI in the F10 or F2007.

I found the Formula GT in the used lot on Day 785 if that helps anyone. I missed it around Day 465 because I was only level 23, but I just got it a few minutes ago. Off I go to try and beat the championship.
