New NIssan livery for the 2015 V8 Pirtek Enduro Cup. For those that want to stay up to date with current liveries
The #99 Moffat/Douglas car

Keen to see what these things sound like, if they all sound the same and the Nissans/Mercedes don't have a high pitch scream then they have failed.

Do you know if the wheels are paintable? If so, can the inner part of the wheels be painted like the Altima?
I don't I'm afraid as it's only a rental. Although I think you can paint rented cars, but I haven't tried it yet.

Yeah you can paint any car on the paint shop irrespective of whether you own it.

How do they sound guys? Besides the Volvo Polestar which sounds WRONG...do the others at least sound right? Not finished downloading these yet otherwise i'd check myself.

The wheels though.
There is a bright lip on the rim. Can we paint the colored part or does the whole wheel have to be painted?
No, that isn't an option. However, in the case of the Nissan, the stock rims are black with the silver lip.

Volvo, Merc and Nissan aren't right, I haven't driven the others yet.

Sad face. That's a shame. At least my XR2 sounds awesome which I am really pleased about! They captured that engine and exhaust note really well from FH2 originally but seems to me to sound even better in Forza 6, something about the exhaust burble and the quality of the different engine samples sound just, cleaner but dirtier, crisper but throatier, love it.

Back on topic......shame they couldn't do the same for the V8 supercars :\, surely it wouldn't of been that hard to get it RIGHT when they have there own XBOX version esponsored V8 super car to actually ya know...spent time recording it properly?! Hmmm, odd.

I don't know how long they spent collecting car data. If enough people complain, maybe sounds will change in an update. Unless, that's already in the works.

The deal might have come together late and they just didn't have time. Hopefully they fix it, but at least they are in there and driving well :)

I doubt that :\ after 7 previous Forza games this has never happened so I doubt it'll happen now. So far, of my favourite cars i've driven up to now, those at least sound great...I just wish there was a Griffith 500 in the game, beast sounding machine. I wonder what's in store for the first DLC car pack though...6 brand new to forza cars would be spot on but i doubt that too.

Back to the question, they spent a lot of time with a lot of cars but a few of the cars you'd expect to sound perfect and powerful just...don't, the Paganis have been off for a while, now the V8SC's and even new cars like the GT350R having the "quietest" setting recorded, odd indeed sometimes.

EDIT

Apparently the GT350R is bugged, and is using the wrong audio samples for the engine and will be fixed in the next patch which is great news! : http://www.twitch.tv/forzamotorsport/v/15359698 around the 6 hours 50 mark is spoken about it and how apparently, amazingly to my knowledge, audio updates and improvements could well come in patches which is brilliant news!

They all sound exactly the same, and what's with the tyre squeal?

*wipes v8 super cars off list for good*

That is dreadful. Now way I racing these until they a) sound like how they are supposed to and b) more importantly IMO, reduce the hell out of that aweful tyre squeel. It almost dare I say, sounds arcadey which is aweful.

After sitting trackside at sandown yesterday there is a lot of work to be done with the sounds of the v8's. The Nissan, Volvo and merc sound way off and you don't get the upshift and downshift exhaust burble at all in game. Very disappointing

Yep :\. Which is really really odd and something in Forza that has always striked me as bizzare. For a game which is supposed to be focused on "motorsport" you get the whole line of V8 super cars sounding pants, but you get the random Fiat X1/9 sounding absolutely fantastic, one of the best sounding I4 i've discovered so far in game (and certainly was not expecting it) alongside the MK1 FF Escort which is also top notch.

That cars like the Hellcat which sound fantastic too. Perhaps they really did just run out of time and may do them properly in the future?! Long shot I know but, the whole xbox super car partnership really makes me wonder why they were not able to spend time with the car to record it and the others.

As all the cars are from 2015 Super Test liveries(bar the HRT), makes wonder if they could only scan the skins in time.

You could make a thread about it over at FM.net, its seems they're listening to a lot of feedback there, or @forzamotorsport on twitter as well.

That being said, I (for me atleast) still had an absolute blast doing to Bathurst Showcase in the The Race Driver Experience tier, was an awesome event.

Believe me, we are keeping that thread about audio issues alive and well and page 1 indefinitely until something is done or acknowledged about it! If they can fix one car (GT350R) they can fix more, and add audio sliders easily.

I must say that the V8 Supercars Bathurst Invitational event is cruel. Making it so you have to drive a Ford is pure evil to your normal V8 Supercars Holden fan, it feels like betrayal. I could have easily passed the Holden in first and won, but I couldn't push myself to do it. :P
