My only question now is preorder a physical disc or a digital download. Anyone want to offer up some pros and cons?
 
Progress doesn't save. It only stays in if you don't "quit" the demo (start, select quit) I Just quit it to try the next car :cool:

I would choose disc over download, but that's just my preference, I like having something physical to collect.

I ALWAYS chose a disc over a digital download any day. As I have said before, if you ever decide to trade the game in, you can earn some of that money back. If you go digital, its yours forever even after the servers are shut off. And you cant make any money off of it at all. Plus I just prefer having a physical case and disc to show off in my gaming setup in signature.
 
I'll admit I'm leaning towards the digital download because of two reasons: 1.) I've never done a digital download of a large title like this and I'm curious to see how it works, how long it would take to download, etc. 2.) I can keep my FM5 disc in the XBox and not keep swapping the discs out. Yes, I am that lazy.

You will like it. I DL everything for PC and not having a drawer or cabinet full of discs is nice.

I dunno whether I'm the same. Unless the zombie apocalypse hits in the next two years I'll be upgrading to FH3 when that comes out and I won't need a disc for the second game any more. At that point it just becomes physical clutter which'd be taking up space in a drawer somewhere. Everyone is different but I don't think I need a physical disk like most people.

My fm5 disc never leaves the xb1 as I don't play anything else

Ditto. It's a nice change of pace but it would be awesome if they included just a single normal circuit on the outskirts of city that you could drive to.

Maybe horizon 3 will take place in Germany and you could drive to the Nürburgring!

I like the tight circuits of FH1 better than most of FM4's (and especially FM5's) options, but it would be cool to have a sanctioned racetrack or two on the map that you could drive to. 👍

Given that Horizon has blossomed into a series, it's exciting to think about what they could do with it. Playground Games have done an exceptional job of moving the genre forward.
 
I swear this demo is designed to be the cruellest level of torture. The way you see them amazing roads past the yellow barriers.... :drool:

God, can you please just skip the next 16 days? Please? :(

If they keep at this pace it would not surprise me to start seeing the Horizon games outsell the regular Forza games. Especially since Horizon has offroad, night day cycle, AND dynamic weather. I have grown an entire new respect for Playground games with Horizon 2. And this is only the demo! :D

Sad thing for me is that I wont even be able to purchase it on release day. I'm going to the Long Beach Comic Con the weekend of the 26th :(
