Forza Horizon 2 General Discussion Thread

Well.. guess what? This discussion inspired me to give Horizon 1 another go. I'm somewhat coming to terms with it - it does have it's fun moments.

Very eagerly waiting for a review on the X360 version of H2.
 
So since I have about 3 months until I get it (probably an X-Mas gift) I have started to get some stupid ideas on what I'm going to do. How do you guys feel about a 1970 Camaro as a cross country vehicle?
 
Has anyone gotten all 29 signs yet? I'm only up to 23. How about collaborating on a map?

OMG the 3 days video is amazing. I did not expect that much details in the surroundings and movement of the trees and waves! These guys are perfectionists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably won't get playing the Demo, 10gb download and I've got crap internet my new place 4mbps if I'm lucky Lol :(
 
Try and download it overnight. The demo is definitely worth it!

I'm also #9 on a Speed Zone, too. :D
 
So there are cameras that record your speed and there is like a leaderboard for each camera spot? :O

Sounds like a nice idea! Especially it's before or after a tricky corner

I didn't have a NES but was a dab hand at the Arcade version Burning Rubber.


Horizon 2 should have a "car jump" button so we can get over those metal barriers either side of the autostrade.

With a 4 MB connection, you should be able to download the game in a few hours. Don't think it would take all night. But definitely a few hours, provided your connection's in good shape and the download remains uninterrupted.

What an epic ad. It shown a few bits of the intro, all live-action, really good. And the song in question is an old Italian music masterpiece of the '70s: "Prisencolinensinainciusol" by Adriano Celentano. You might think they sing in perfectly intelligible English... It's actually gibberish that is SUPPOSED to sound like English! And the result is awesome.
One of the best ads of recent times? Surely.

I agree. Looks stunning in game.

Pre-ordered last night.
 
That commercial is just too cool...hats off to that marketing team! I had such a large grin on my face thinking back (way back!) to that Christmas I opened my first HO slot car set.
FH2 is such a far departure from the sim racing I prefer but it sure has hit a soft spot in my love of cars in general; rolled up in a slick and gorgeous presentation.

There is actually a part similar to that in the demo. It is also a part with unbreakable concrete barriers that do not let you go offroad. It is one of the few parts of the demo where you cant actually explore the entire map. I kept trying to go around the walls or break through and you cant. So unless this changes in the full game, there are still parts of the map you cant "fully" explore. Which is still okay because the majority of the map, you can. I guess it makes sense otherwise people would just jump down the entire hill and skip the track during a race.
 
Gonna wait for fm5 ultimate edition to come out then I'll get that too. Or is it already out?
