If this sounds or looks familiar to you, chances are it probably is. Having been a thing for many years now, initially started by Terronium-12 before a revival by Frizbe in 2012.
The purpose of this idea is to provide more accuracy, freedom, and variety in how you want your car to be painted. That can be as simple as a more accurate version of a Manufacturer Paint option. Maybe repainting an older model with a newer paint colour (or vice versa) is your thing. Or perhaps you want to repaint it with a colour from another manufacturer altogether? There's no problem with that, if that's the case.
Some of the colours in the original spreadsheet may be slightly outdated, appearing inaccurate as a result. However, that being said, some of the colours featured in it may not be in this spreadsheet... for now.

The public spreadsheet has since become a collaborative project, with users comprising of myself, @JaCor653 and @MadaraxUchiha. While we do add colours that have not been requested, we still take requests from everyone as long as they are colours that are not already featured. What we can say is that the spreadsheet is continuously growing, with more and more colours being added. Let's make this the ultimate colour database for Forza, shall we?
Listed below are how the colour values are found, as well as where some samples are found:
FINDING FORZA VALUES
https://bang.systems/forza-colors/
(The previous tool used when this was started, http://chris-hill.co.uk/forzacolour.php, is no longer accessible.)
FINDING COLOURS
http://paintref.com/paintref/index.shtml
https://colorndrive.com/au/car-touch-up-paint#brands
In some cases, reference images are used of any colour that is not featured on either of the websites listed above or any other website. Sometimes, even a mix of using both may be used, depending on how we choose to replicate colours.
When requesting a specific colour to be replicated, please check to see if it is already in the spreadsheet. This is something we cannot stress enough, so please use the Find tool in the spreadsheet (ctrl+f/cmnd+f) and type a colour name there. We don't want to repeat the same thing over and over again, as it has become annoying.
Even if there are no exact matches for what you are searching for, either spelling or the name will be the issue - it will be there under another name. We tend to keep a note of English translations of colours that are listed in German, Italian or French (mainly), so there is bound to be an English translation for the colour you are looking for. If no translation is available at the time, then it's best to double-check the colour name in English and its foreign counterpart via a translation.
Sometimes a specific colour is a paint-to-sample, so if you find any colour on a car (of which the manufacturer has the availability of PTS), check to see if it comes under a different manufacturer. It might just have come from there. This post lists a few examples.
If you are unable to find a matching colour, then you can make your request. We are recreating manufacturer body colours and wheels, including those of third-party companies like Advan and ADV.1. And if tractors are more your thing, then we've got that covered too! There are also some wrap companies included in the list, so there is a fair bit of variety, to say the least.
And thanks to the help of @PlumCrazy010, we now have a library full of each colour in the spreadsheet applied to the C2 Corvette. If you're wondering what any colour will look like, this is the place to go.
With all of that said, if you have a colour you want us to recreate that isn't in the spreadsheet, please list the name of the manufacturer and (most importantly) the colour. Multiple colours can be requested at a time, so if you have a list of them, you can add them all to the one post in the thread.
