I looked back at FH4 and I think i only completed 1 complete season of events. Probably why i didn't get burned out on it, spent more time in rally and street events i made. With the updated ability to save and edit I'll probably spend more time with that than chasing cars in seasonal events.

They're both quite easy - I was intending on finding out whether the flags are cumulative (which I think they are) but I accidentally scored five in one session. And you can do it in Horizon Open PG rather than Seasonal PG.
If you’re not feeling it, then don’t worry about it. Forcing yourself to get 100% when you’ve already got what you need is the best way to burn yourself out on it.
Well you’re both right. 😊 Since i had some unexpected free time this evening (skipped my dancing classes since i didn’t feel very well) I gave it a try anyway. Turned out it took less than 30 minutes to do both. One eliminator game where the second car I picked up was level 4, then one seasonal playground game (another 1vs1 as always) where I let my opponent be king and have him capture 5 flags, then I captured 3 flags and let him win the game. In hindsight this would have been a really silly way to end my 100% streak, I guess my exodus from that will be for another week. 😄

I'm still working on getting all the accolades for setting clean times for each track in Rivals. Today I grabbed the Ford Fiesta XR2. I hadn't driven it in Mexico yet. I had forgotten how much fun this little hot hatch can be. That's one of the things I love about this series. It's not just about the total amount of cars, but the incredible variety available.

Great photo, G-town is the perfect place to have some fun with hatchbacks!

And you’re right about car diversity! Yesterday I was goofing around in free roam at night as well, again admiring the beauty of the graphics in this game, the atmosphere at night, decided to compare the lit up dashboards and car sounds of some 90s JDM cars. Later ended up in… a HSV Ute in Mexico. ☺️

I wish there was a “random car selection“ option in the game. Just switch to a different random car in your garage. Or switch to the car with the lowest mileage in your garage. Those 2 options would give a HUGE amount of play value for me.

Well the next car is about to come out and the porsche is still "not released" yet for me.

I like the random option. That's a really good idea! Maybe have options to pull from lowest mileage, like you said, or cars you haven't tried yet.

Oh ya. Good episode of Up To Speed. He kinda hits all the same points he hit in the Gran Turismo episode though.

I know I voted UK with my cars except for one French car but I didn't expect them to place so highly and was hoping for Japan to win but expected the US to take it.

I can't help wondering if Italy would've done better if it had more than one offroad vehicle.

It's France's turn to be unimaginative this week...

I'd have thought Italy would have done really well, because people would only need to switch to the LM002 and do it all in one go (and the Weekly Challenge as well). That's precisely why I didn't use it

Shows how much you know. :D Looks like smart but lazy drivers were thin on the ground.

That said I think I'm gonna try Megane-ing it this week.

@Milouse 's kudosprime.com is your friend here.

Keep your garage up to date on there and hit the "random car" button at the top of the page. Works for multiple games. I have done that for FM6,FM7,FH3,FH4 and now FH5 👍

Mazda: Love it.

Wuling: Love it.

Now here’s some fun. I built this up to A800 using the Rally Turbo 4 engine. Kept it RWD. Tires are lettered race tires. Tires and wheels are one size up from stock. Transmission is full-race 6-speed with 4.00 final drive. Even with the better and larger tires, it still smokes the rear tires all the way through the first four gears.

I'm guessing the planning and development of the Horizon World Cup was well underway when Stellantis' Italian brands not named Maserati pulled out, which left the LM002 the only viable C-class Italian.

It doesn't surprise me to learn that Wuling is part of a GM joint venture, it's obvious from just how openly the Sunshine/Hongguang* wears its GM-ness. It's like it's from some weird alternate timeline where the Spark is Chevy's primary model and it got a half dozen different variants.

It's even sold as the Chevrolet Enjoy in India, which is amusing in its own right.

*Apparently Sunshine is the name of a different model of van that Wuling also sells, but they apply the name to this car as well outside of China because... reasons, I guess, I dunno.

You should change your license plate from Sunset to Sunshine 😄

Omg I had the absolute worst trial team mate just now. Constantly pushing me off the track And driving me into a wall. We lost the first race by 50 points and I was out front, people are so infuriating.

I've been racing French cars in the championship. The 2018 Mégane R.S. is a mid-pack car in the Trial in stock form. Drop the weight and improve the brakes and it becomes a front runner. I learned this the obvious way, using it stock for my first attempt at the Trial (lost 2-1) and then improving it and going back (won 2-0). The 2008 Mégane R26.R only needs rally tires to be ready for the Games. Also, if you infect a player during Infected while playing the weekly games, that counts towards the daily challenge.
