The first Horizon Anniversary took me 4 tries to get 3 stars. I use racing line out in out technique, cut the inside corner just a skinny bit without losing much speed.

Also the 599XX have different sound compared to 599XX Evoluzione. the 599XX sound more raw and those downshift backfire sound good.

In any case, still not getting the points for it. Do I need to clear every single accolade? I think I missed the bonus board in the Colorado chapter and that's the only one I'm missing (not counting the "smash every board" accolade that'd pop alongside it).

It's in the Corrado part. Follow the suggested dirt road and you'll see it before you get to the main road.

I was able to three-star the first race without resorting to shortcuts. Mostly because I didn't see any obvious shortcuts. I got ahead of the Jesko early, and then was very precise with my corners. Carried as much speed as I could without going offroad. I finally got down to 2:09.2xx. The other courses were very easy to short cut.

I think I got under 2:09 in my second attempt. I was butter smooth.

You don't need 7th gear at all, I managed a 2:08.4 on my 2nd try keeping it in 6th all the way.

Won with -10 seconds with my first try(but with few rewinds) - at the beginning did 180* and cut through desert when mountain to you left ends. Same strategy with all other races - off-road shortcuts all the way.

Thats funny, I remember the good old Forza Motorsport 2, 3, 4, and Horizon 1 days on those forums. The moderators refused to listen to any criticism, or suggestions. I still think I have a forum ban until 2099.

The ONLY thing I would suggest is team/rivals that act in Tokyo Xtreme Racer, you encounter these on the road and you challenge members of that said team until the leader challenges you and if you defeat the leader, you defeat that team, and sometimes boss cars would come up and challenge you. I would love this idea in the future, but I don't know if it happen.

The first race took me a few tries to get right but I ended up getting a 2:08. I didn't cut offroad at all and just carried as much speed as I could. I've never had to take a "tryhard" racing line in a Horizon story so this was a nice challenge. All the other ones were easy, although the one with the Corrado can be pretty tight if you don't absolutely cheat the line at the start and cut through a third of the route.

The official Forza Forums have honestly gone down the drain. That's mostly why I join here, I currently have a nice ban over there that ends in November. You can literally get your account locked if you so much as criticise the game in a way they don't like. It's a shame, there's some really nice people over there.

If they are Name Dropping the Tsuru like that I'd bet they are already well underway in getting it ready for the game.
Legal and Marketing teams likely wouldn't let then call out the car by name if they didn't already have licensing secured.

It’s another livery with incorrect colors in the car mastery screen. Clearly not a big issue. Just interesting to note.

In FH4 I dubbed my LFA the Edinburgh Banshee (seriously just hear it). Here in Mexico it will be "La Llorona", the Wailing Lady of Guanajuato.

I normally wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to do the weekly events but I checked in early this week and Scottie Tyler looked nothing like I imagined him. For one thing I expected him to be much fatter after munching all those tacos.

Horizon Mixtape seems to be all my least favourite tunes from previous games but I haven't heard a DJ yet. Shame they didn't bring back the sultry-voiced Holly Cruz.
