But even then, the Lamborghini Temerario will take a while for it to be featured in Forza or even Gran Turismo as it is a relatively new car - unless they have early access like the folks who develop CSR2.

Licensing means one thing, getting the permits to the cars, but something has to be built from scratch after getting around it.

Assuming it takes Turn Ten/Playground to build a car in nine months (same as with Polyphony), then it could take roughly that long to a year to expect the Lamborghini Temerario in a Forza game.

I mean, that very well could happen. Porsche allowed Turn10 to model the 991 GT2 RS & debuted it at E3 alongside FM7. Then, there's the story of Turn10 getting access to the Ford GT long before its debut.

The Temerario has been spied since mid last year looking pretty similar to its production form, just with the details camo'd. T10/PG for the better part of this year may have already been in discussion or modelling it in the mean time, esp. when FH5's Lamborghini roster seems to imply the manufacturer is on very friendly terms with the franchise.

There's also the Ferrari 458 in FM3 - the car was unveiled in mid-September 2009, and the game came out at the end of October with files for the car already on the disc (as Ferrari F142, because it presumably didn't have a confirmed name yet when they started). The finished car was released in a DLC at the beginning of December, something like 12 weeks after it was first unveiled.

The McLaren MP4-12C was unveiled about the same time as the 458 and also had some parts on the FM3 disc, but wasn't released as DLC for another six months after the 458 was.

Maybe rods and customs or probably just classic muscle
The HotWheels Trans Am from a while back went into Track Toys. It came in at S1-894 which is probably similar to the new Camaro.

I can see this one going in Track Toys too as Edax suggested.

It's a gift center reward. There's a special race suit that requires you to use the car 5 times in events to unlock it
Makes sense. This would be the missing fifth car from the High Performance Dailies update, so adding this during this particular Series would make a lot more sense than stuffing it in some promo dealie like the Oreo Zonda.

It's not in the game yet, so the earliest it could be gifted is after the update at the start of the next series. That's why it's dated September 10th, the day of that update.

Oh, for some reason I thought it was coming September 15th, oops. Guess that possibly leans to some kind of Jordan Car Pack.
