Probably the 11th then since that’s the official start of season 1. But they could have simply given the page a message like “Forzathon shop will open soon!” instead of this error message. Aah well…

Seems like they gifted everyone a Corvette C8 with a Mexican themed livery. Was that from yesterday’s stream or so?
 
If you thought getting clothing items is the worse thing that can happen in super wheelspins, then think again. 😁

I found two cars in mastery.
A 1970 Dodge Charger Daytona from a Dodge Charger R/T mastery.
And a DeBerti Jeep from a Jeep Wrangler mastery.
Also, according to a friend of mine, you can unlock the Mazda RX-7 FC by completing Super7 three times, and you can unlock the Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion as a mastery prize for this car.

...Yeah, great design to force people to play the unloved mode and flood them with tons of "Easy Win" style challenges.

Kudos (kudos!!!) are mentioned in one submenu, but I don’t know what they do at the moment. Anyways, I finish the day with 40 cars. I also gift dropped a spare Taycan, but I also don’t know how that works.

It's odd that the Vocho story forced me into chase cam to drive the transporter but the Rush adventure didn't. I had to switch to third person view in order to fully appreciate it.

Does anyone have a list of the cars in game which have functioning convertibles? I know the 720S Spider and Portofino can do it.
 
Forza 5 is the my first real go at a Forza game. It looks incredible and sounds incredible even on my series s.

My biggest problem with the game right now is sever disconnecting issue. I hope this gets sorted out quickly as it can be a real problem at time even when not actively racing other folks it will stop your car like you hit a brick wall which is more than annoying when you are trying to do speed traps, stunts etc.

Didn't watch the stream but as I had the starter Corvette I just got rid of it..
 
The launch control thing is super fun.

I'm on an original XB1 and there's a bit of stuttering in the "city" and during races, but I kinda expected that tbh.
 
I'm a bit confused on the Festival Playlist PR Stunts. For the Coast View speedtrap do I need a particular S2 988 Track Toy car or upgrade one to that spec? And do I need a particular Ford for the Event Horizon Danger Sign.

No, it doesn't matter what PI or model as long as the car is in the PI901-998 (S2 class) track toy category.
This means that you can either use a car that is stock and belongs to the S2 class, or upgrade a car from a lower class to the S2 class.
And the same goes for the seasonal danger sign, which can be used on any Ford vehicle of PI801 or higher.

Incidentally, in the latter case, you can use the Ford Puma FE, which is available as a VIP benefit.
This car is set up for rally specs by default., and you don't need to do anything to achieve this challenge.

Was playing Hot Pursuit and it has some great showcase feature. Few days after I made this as Demo from FH4 video and NFS1 sound:


Feature Ferrari 512TR which was cut from FH5 :ouch:
Should I start full series with FH5 cars? There are some Jags there ;)

I can tell you that either I am doing something wrong, or the 3rd gen MX5 doesn't, despite having a fully animated foldable roof that can be opened and closed in Forzavista.

If they don't patch this, we riot.

I barely had the 2 million credits to buy the house with fast travel anywhere perk, but it was more than worth it and I eventually got all that money back through wheelspins anyway. Also knocked out all 250 bonus boards last night so I now have free fast travel.

Still have to discover all roads though.

I waited until the end of FH4 to smash boards but with this game I dived straight in (and straight off the cliff).



Also I will need a crowbar to remove that Remi Wolf song from my head. Pulse is way better this time around.
 
Is anyone else experiencing significant sound issues? Like the car/engine sounds being super quiet, even with all the other sliders way down? Are you able to hear your cars engine at all when driving through a sandstorm, or just the “whoosh” of the wind? Can you hear opponents car sounds at all? Or are the opponent’s car sounds totally overpowering the sound of your own car? Experiencing any strange echoey sounds when driving close to a wall? Or maybe when racing a plane or monster truck, all you hear is the plane or truck, even when the plane or truck are not even close to you?

Just curious if I’ve got something messed up somewhere. The sound mixing for me is just way off.
 
Did anyone receive their skill point refund today?
I just activated the game and received my 50 skill points back.
There doesn't seem to be any change in my cr, cars, or mastery of the cars I own.
And there is no explanation about this refund in the message center, and no information on their twitter or forums.

I should be happy about this, but the fact that the reason for this refund is unknown is creeping me out and I am not able to use these skill points. :indiff:
 
Had to resort to playing on my standard XB1 because of the crashing issues on PC and so far haven't encountered any game breaking problems apart from a temporary freeze during the Corvette introduction race.

Otherwise the game still feels very good.
 
Anyone with premium got a free house?
I thought we get one free house, basically same as with one free car, a voucher.
The Casa Bella is just the standard house everyone gets.
I have now unlocked the Buenas Vistas, but I still need to purchase it. I thought I would be able to get one house for free?
 
You will find one house which you need to purchase but is free for Premium owners.
