While I enjoy the addition of varied and characterful cars instead of just another generic sleek shape with a turbo V8 or several electric motors, the map design really doesn't lend itself well to slower cars. It's all six-lane-wide roads with long straights and gentle, sweeping corners, with the dirt roads being just as bad.
I think Blizzard Mountain is the last time there were any narrow, twisty roads, and even they were quite limited. FH4's UK map had one or two narrower roads tucked away at best, then Mexico has nothing - even the tightly-packed city is at least 4 lanes at its narrowest. I'd love to take the 205 Rallye out for a spin and not be in 5th gear for most of it, but every road on the map is designed to do 150mph+ at all times. Driving the Caterham in last week's championship was mainly a lot of flat-out running, and a total waste of such a nimble car.
