The Republic of California would be OK.So no return to the US then.

It'd certainly line up with the biome diversity Mexico had. But hey, if you can't go to China or Japan without ruffling feathers or radically altering the map so it doesn't "feel" like either country, there's always South Korea or Malaysia.
That being said... I don't think PG or Turn 10 would just go to the Nissan Heritage Museum and scan four Japanese cult cars or (presumably) grab a Mark II from a JDM garage in Britain if they didn't consider Japan to be a major contender for a setting. Whatever they're doing, it sounds serious.
It doesn't entirely tally with their values of inclusion and diversity though.
GAC is more than likely to be for motorsport tho (besides FH5 had some TCR cars)First of all, GAC and Zeekr, two mainland Chinese manufacturers, have text strings and textures in the game's files. Zeekr is owned by Geely, one of PG's marketing partners, and they're also the current owners of Lynk & Co, so it's likely they'll make the jump and not GAC, but it's absolutely worth mentioning.
I still think China is an option.
Considering how many Chinese cars we got in this game, that’s not out of the question.
Malaysia
If it was Malaysia there’d probably be more Protons (gimme gimme gimme). Philippines also has an underrated car culture.
If it’s Japan though I don’t think it will be in Tokyo. I think it will be somewhere smaller like Sapporo or Okinawa (mix of Japanese and American cultures). Even Osaka is difficult due to its proximity to Kobe and Kyoto.
The only thing I'm worried about is the lack of elevation. I had the opportunity to drive up Bukit Timah Hill last year though and it's very picturesque but 163m isn't very high.Singapure is more likely than china, considering how much % of its population has connections with China
TDU:SC for exemple tried to explore chinese market with hongkong, i dont doubt that Forza could try do the same with singapure
yea the lack of elevation can hurt, but i feel they plan to change a bit the map to improve the gameplayThe only thing I'm worried about is the lack of elevation.
Independtly if you are right, left or center, companies only care about profits and shareholders
dude only copy and paste info he founds here, nothing new to talk aboutVídeo in portuguese
I think Okinawa or Hokkaido would be darn near ideal personally, the vibes from Okinawa were pretty much the biggest inspiration for the PS2 era. But I also think the area around Mount Aso in Kyushu would be a neat place to set a festival too, you have a big mountain to the south, a flood plain all around, and a lake not too far away. Just about the only thing you're missing would be a major body of water to act as a natural map border. If it was Malaysia there’d probably be more Protons (gimme gimme gimme). If you’re looking for America but in Asia though, Forza Horizon: Guam would be kind of sick lol.
proton in forza is literally in my wet dreamIf it was Malaysia there’d probably be more Protons (gimme gimme gimme). Philippines also has an underrated car culture.

i dont see them going to okinawa and hokkaido is too isolated for a racing gameI think Okinawa or Hokkaido would be darn near ideal personally, the vibes from Okinawa were pretty much the biggest inspiration for the PS2 era. I would love to see the Panda 4x4 and Honda e in game. The Prius I'd drive once to the sea, dump it in the water and consider my work done.Looks like a bunch of new leaks in the Motorsport thread, with a bunch of cars that are definitely more Horizon focused. Could also hint again at a Japanese setting for the next game.
Cars I could easily see in Horizon:
Audi R8 GT (which is the farewell model from '23 for the discontinuing of the R8)
BMW X6 M
Fiat Panda 4x4 mk1
Honda e
Lincoln LS
Subaru Vivio
Toyota Prius Prime
if forza in malaysia, they have a chance to add the vehicles like these:Singapore is definitely underrated too. That would be very fun. I’m considering visiting there and Kuala Lumpur on holiday this year.
Would also be a place where we could get a Proton in Forza lol
if forza in malaysia, they have a chance to add the vehicles like these:
Rally Monsters:
Proton Putra WRC
Proton Satria Neo S2000
Proton Iriz R5
Retro Rally:
2001 Proton PERT
2004 Proton PERT
Vans and Utility:
Proton Arena/Jumbuck
Modern Hot Hatch:
Proton Satria Neo R3 Lotus Racing
Proton Iriz
Perodua Myvi
Perodua Axia
Retro Hot Hatch:
Perodua Kancil
Proton Satria R3
As much as I want to see Horizon 6 set in China, I myself wouldn't be too optimistic since, well, let's just say there are many restrictions.I still think China is an option.

"You may pick from these three. Total. From all categories. Good luck landing right on a PI limit!"
Tries to buy U.S. legal 25-or-older import like Lotus Carlton or R33 GT-R
"A 10,000 credit smog compliance testing and modification surcharge will be added to the vehicle purchase price. Or you may spend 500 credits and set up a Montana LLC under which to register it, but there is a random chance you will get caught, the vehicle permanently deleted from your garage and you will have to pay a large fine."
🙃
So that's not tyre smoke?😂😂😂Of course we need to have the Agricultural Inspection Stations that are on the Cali state border in Forza Horizon: California. Just in case your car is hauling illegal plants into the festival
All the people who claim Forza isn't real enough right now salivating over this ideaGoes to buy engine upgrade parts or engine swap for vehicle made after 1975

The new free cars are accolade rewards, not playlist related. So I believe this Thursday marks the final week of this rollercoaster of a Playlist remix? I wonder what's gonna happen after the next changeover; I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that Horizon Realms is going to come with its own Playlist and that'll be the "catch" with the free permanent cars and the car pack we're getting.
I know. I'm just wondering if we'll be getting a playlist with cars on top of the car pack and the accolade reward cars. It just seems like the sort of thing Playground would do to compensate, since folks like me that have everything would probably just log on, grab those eight cars, and get out after a couple days. The new free cars are accolade rewards, not playlist related.
You forget, they're no longer focusing on the Xbox/PC players, they're focusing on the new players on PS5. No need to add anything else new to the game for you/"us" as they already have 3.5 years of content "they" have never seen.I know. IMO it makes sense, it probably would be the 900th driveable car.My only complaint as a PC/Xbox owner is that my final car garage tally will end on 899 cars like this. They are horrible teases....
Hey, maybe we'll get the MC20 free as a final hurrah?
