1926 Kissel 6-55 “Gold Bug” roadster. If I were a young man with money to spend in the 1920s, I’d have been a Kissel man. The Gold Bug is one of my all-time favorites. Sadly, of the 21,503 Kissels made between 1906 and 1930, only about 150 have survived.

The #47 Porsche 356SL Le Mans Coupè entered by Porsche A.G. in the 1951 Le Mans 24h.

Unlike its more famous 2-063 sibling, which would collect Porsche's first of many class victories with #46 and become the exemplar of the model, 2-054 would crash during practise and fail to make the start of the race. It would later be sold and entered in the 1953 Carrera Panamericana, where it was disqualified for taking too damn long to finish.
