There are people behind the barriers, especially at the festival and around Tokyo. There are deer too. Ran into a gathering (?) of them on one of the offroad trails. The ambient sounds are mesmerizing however the default audio balancing completely steps on the great car sounds.Cars… everyone loves cars. But where is the immersion? No people on the streets, no real life and Japan should feel alive. Weird things you can do in your garage. Trees, dinosaurs that cost points… I have so many questions.
somehow its now working, just painfully slow...Anyone else having freezing issues when downloading from Microsoft store?
I have to say, the Steam download was very slow this morning, I normally get around 600mbps and it was going at 149mbps down to about 90mbps.somehow its now working, just painfully slow...

My main gripe is the rating. They gave FH3 a 9.5, FH4 a 9.5, & FH5 a 10. I'm sorry, but this is clearly a reviewer unfamiliar with the series to suddenly drop to a 7 b/c the game still carries the same working formula as previous titles, still has the same foundation issues as the others, & yet, improves over its predecessors as FH4 & FH5 did. This game did not suddenly walk backwards from FH3 & I consider that to be the best I've enjoyed personally up until now.I disagree, I think it's very valid to criticise aspects of a game even if you have come to expect them from the previous entries in the series.
This is not written for Forza Horizon enthusiasts (who are gonna buy anyway) but a broader audience.
Just brushing all things that could be improved aside with "but that's just Horizon/CoD/2k for you" is poor journalism. There's some very valid points in there regarding progression that have irked me in every Horizon since at least 3.
It’s a very long-winded process but I can see the benefits of it.EDIT: Just found out all the details to import the vinyl groups from FH5...forgot to share them first. Ouch.
Could be worse, the price of the VW Splitty made my eyes water.71k for an MX5 RF? hmm.
That's entirely fair, I didn't know the context of that site's previous reviews. And tbh I glanced over the rating itself - the text sounds a lot more positive than 7/10!My main gripe is the rating. From my view over 5 hours, it's an incredibly strong improvement. The map is breathtakingly gorgeous, gigantic, & diverse just driving the main highway around it whilst still having the whole north region untouched. Tokyo really is the first proper city. The game still looks amazing in Performance mode where some of the smaller details & pop-ins really show where its making cuts to stay at 60FPS. And the sounds might just be the best revision & that they change based on the surrounding environment; the exhaust noise changing in tight alleys & 2-lane streets is nice attention to detail. The cars aren't spitting fire all the time (the visual has even been revised & looks much nicer) & the exhausts are crackling off throttle for once. And the only "gripe" I've had in these 5 hours is a gripe I've had over Horizon & Motorsport games, a bug that clearly sits within' the editor; any car with graphics/stripes/etc. suddenly loses them when you add a vinyl.
The only thing I see irking me as I play is the car list, but I think it's clear cars will return over time & are being re-worked/re-recorded to keep consistency. Other than that, this is a solid overall delivery from PG so far.
Other than that..... Is the gallery not live yet on Forza.net for me to see my photos off the console?
I didn't know if it was a good deal,I took it as I had nearly a mil.👍Could be worse, the price of the VW Splitty made my eyes water.
What FOMO has been reduced? I cannot see anything reduced? So they reduced one FOMO and added another FOMO?
There are people on the streets, they are behind barriers. The game is rated E, they likely can't even have an implied implication of you running over pedestrians. First time I've heard someone complain about the option to customize your garage.Cars… everyone loves cars. But where is the immersion? No people on the streets, no real life and Japan should feel alive. Confusing things you can do in your garage. Trees, dinosaurs that cost points… I have so many questions.
Why can’t they make this feel more grown-up? I let go of it weeks ago, but… this is just sad.
It has been said, that the playlist cars will obtainable through oterh ways later on.What FOMO has been reduced? I cannot see anything reduced?
It’s likely a marketing decision by Jeep. The same way the Toyota Land Cruiser is called FJ40 instead of Land Cruiser in the game.Jeep Gladiator is now a Jeep JT, Gladiator has been censored it seems?
Well I hope you’re wearing it.Whoever said there were no clothes on regular wheelspins was wrong,I just "won" a frickin' chicken suit..![]()
