Hello all, I'm new here but I have used a whole bunch of these colors people have created in Forza Horizon 1 and 2. I'm having a problem with creating Bayside Blue for my Nissan Skyline R32. I know it's on the list, but it looks way too dark each time I use it. I have even edited it around on my own, but still can't get it right. Has anyone had better luck getting it to look like the correct color?

This link says the paint consists of a base coat colour, pearl coat colour and a clear coat which is just a typical transparent colour?. So how do we translate this into Forza?

Best approach would be to use the metallic flake paint. I'll see what I can do 'bout that color when I get some free time (maybe tomorrow afternoon'll be the day I'll mix some paints).

Can someone start posting colors from here?
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/the-gt6-colour-matching-thread.294402/
Or is this thread basically that?

They serve slightly different purposes, thanks to the two games' different approaches to paints. There's more guess-work involved with GT's, since there's no easy way to be specific with the colours. I imagine a lot of those colours are in the database already, though: not so much the special colours, however (like "Calsonic Blue" or "JUN Yellow"). We don't need to find a paint chip that accurately matches a livery's base colour for our replicas in FM5, do we? ;)

I'm really enjoying the massive improvement in paint rendering coming from FM4 to FM5 (and FH2). My E30 looks perfect in Estorilblau now, while it never looked quite right before.

I was disappointed the database didn't include BMW's Imola Red. I love that colour.

I'm about to head out for a family event, but next time I'm in front of the game, I'll have a look at recreating it. It's a great colour, and I've got the PS3 and the 360 hooked up to other inputs, so it shouldn't be too hard. 👍

So funny story I had added all the colors @Populuxe Cowboy and @ClydeYellow had posted but never saw anyone in the sheet using it and never heard anything in here..... it's because I added them to my new sheet for Forza 5 and forgot to share it with you guys.:dunce:

Here it is

That's because the old codes on the other sheet are for Forza 4 and the original Horizon which especially for metallics and pearls do not transfer over to Forza 5 and Horizon 2. The new sheet was made starting with Nissan Gun Metallic and Bayside Blue as the first two colors because of this. Check them out.

I personally would like to know the right settings to match the Lance Blue color on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6. Forza Horizon 2 unfortunately doesn't have this color for the Evo 6.

Brill, thank you.

So, uh, remember when I said I'd get on this?

Just experimented with Imola Red a fair amount. Settled on these values:

0.98L / 0.90L / 075R

Let me know how it looks. On the E46, it's much better than the existing red, IMO.

Hi,

I have tried making lamborghinis verde Draco, a green colour for the murcielago lp640.

I can't seem to get it right, can someone please help?
