- Amethyst has edited values for the second tone accompanying the original values. I know not where you see purple at all though. There's just a hint of grey and that's only to imitate the metallic sheen.

- Deep Impact Blue is also an entirely new color, featured only on the 2013 GT500.
- Gotta-Have-It Green and Schoolbus Yellow are two other entirely new colors, featured only on the 2013 Boss 302 Mustang.

Thank you for this, it's a great idea. 👍 I've just painted my Silvia S13 and Astra VXR in Midnight Purple. :D

I decided to experiment a little, and I've come up with a very close match to MG Motor's 'Vibrant Orange'. Here's the details...

Vibrant Orange [MG Motor - 2008 TF LE500]

Colour 1

Hue: 6R
Saturation: 99M
Brightness: 96M

Colour 2

Hue: 9M
Saturation: 98M
Brightness: 96M

The orange look so great on Audi R8s. Thank you

Can anyone recreate this colour? It's my favourite since it was introduced in Hot Pursuit. Thanks :P

Thats my Gallardo with Black Amaethyst from GT5, I've put brightness up a little bit to show the purple and black a little better. it looks more like a really dark purple ontop with a black as the flip colour. it looks really great in GT5 lol

Also just a thought Terronium, how about you pop up a cheap car for a couple of grand which those of us who put requests in for a color can go pick up the 'tune' and give u a little summat back for getting the work done? sure everyone would be happy to pay couple K for a nice custom coloring

I was considering that long before you suggested it. :P

For now, I'll keep things simple and free.

As for Amethyst I'll check it out later as my connection is being a bit of an ass right now.

So now we'll have two. I started mine about a week ago but haven't updated it since, I've also neglected to update the OP as well...

Yes.

EDIT: Both the values and two-tone variety for "Deep Impact Blue" are flat out WRONG. I've already fixed the problem (after obtaining a better picture) and will fix the values shortly.

Much appreciated. :D

Make sure Deep Impact Blue is updated when you get the chance, the values I had before were wrong (no thanks to the dark setting of the press image)

Yay, thank you Terronium, I'll try later....

P.S it's IPANEMA not IMPANEMA :P

Oooh that Fire Red looks amazing. Deffo using that lol

also, any chance of the mettalic purple and mint green that came with the Diablo SE30? i have a pic of teh purple but cant quite get the right colour due to lot of refection :(
The Mint Gren looks really nice, saw Matt Hardwicks parked outside Republic/Gatecrasher back in the day. always been my favorite car

http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w55/Laughjuana/DiabloSE_30.jpg

thats the metallic purple. the color i got was more pink that purple (taken from middle of the bonnet/hood)

values i get for the purple are

H: 0.74L
S: 0.3 (changed to 0.46L as .3 looked washed out)
L: 0.56M (changed to 0.69M seems to be a lot closer)

I'm using this

Hugger Orange [Chevrolet]

Color 1

Hue: 2M
Saturation: 75M
Brightness: 92L

Color 2

Hue: 2L
Saturation: 77L
Brightness: 89L

but it looks red. 2L/M seems way to far to the left to even begin to get orange.

Also, Hugger Orange shouldn't have any metallic in it.

Just forgot, am gonna try a two tone with ther lighter underneath it see if i can get the highlight properly, the original was rather glittery looking metalic same as the mint green,

So my first 'offical' contribution is the SE30 Purple, In photo mode in the standard car showroom studio it looks pretty good and teh twotone gives it that little bit of a sparkle the original color had (unfortunatly theres not a glitter option) Mine is a bit darke than in the photo i posted but i think the RL photo looks a bit brightened up. I've seen the SE30 purple and it looked a bit darker than the RL pic and i prefer the darker purple in my version

Colour 1 (X button)
74L
54M
69M

Colour 2 (Y Button)
76M
82L
69M

Use any two tone paint and adjust the colours using X/Y buttons

The reason I used two-tones for some colors is to replicate sheen under dim/no light, and direct light refractions. I'm fully aware HO has no metallic shine to it. :P

I can't replicate it exactly as you aren't permitted the creation of flat/matte/matt colors which is a shame. I can work on it again (this would be what, the fourth effort) but unless you can find me a neutral picture with just the right amount of refraction it's always going to come out with a bit of a red tinge.

Its one of the few let downs with forza's cistomization, is selecting the diff types of paint. Most the american muscle cars dont look right without big chrome wheels lol.
Maybe ity'll come in as a handy paint pack for £5 later on
