That F4 pic looks almost like its cell shaded. Its a strange look. Hopefully its just the way the pic was taken. I still think F3 looks very very good. It is also strange they removed all the spectators but I am sure its because they didnt have enough processing power. Probably pushing the 360 to its limits.
 
As far as FFB goes the only thing I want is more strength to it.

The motions feel accurate, but it's just a little weak.

I think it has a bit too muchs saturation wich reduces relfections etc. You might be right on the processing power though. Not sure.👍

Cel shaded means with a thick black outline to look like a cartoon.

Hello everyone, first post here. I bought a PS3 and GT5 in December after playing a friend's Prologue. It didn't really grab me so I bought a Fanatec Porsche GT2. Still couldn't get into the singleplayer. I'm about Lv14 or 15 in the game (can't remember as I haven't picked it up since February) while I'm Level 50 in FM3. But enough bashing LOL.

Could one of our German speaking members please provide a rough translation of the following web page for me please?

As near as I can tell it says Turn10 released the FM3 demo at TGS 2009, and that TGS 2011 is just starting.

It also seems to mention the inclusion of Tsukuba as a course but I'm new to the forum so I may have already missed this announcement.

Cel shaded has a black outline of all the objects as mentioned above. Crackdown, Auto Modellista, and Borderlands are all perfect examples of Cel shading. It allows developers to add a LOT more content to a game. Thats why Crackdown 2 has over 500 enemies on the screen and 4 player co-op through 3 full sized cities without missing a beat. Its why Borderlands has over 15 million weapons. That truly looks like there is some sort of cel shading involved in F4 judging by that pic. Which I dont mind at all. I personally loved Crackdown and Borderlands. Auto Modellista was fun too.

Plus I am gagging for the FM4 demo, Porsche or no I can't wait to sample those new tyre responses and appreciate the new IBL.

The F4 demo should be coming out any day. I honestly thought it would have been out yesterday since most demos are released on Tuesday. And Forza usually releases their demo a month before the release. If its not out in the near future then I wouldnt be surprised if they bump the game. They bumped the F3 release date so it wouldnt surprise me to bump F4. As long as it doesnt get bumped for 6 years I will be ok. :lol:

As long as we're not gonna see bumps of months or years I'd rather they took a little time to make sure the release product is as polished as possible :famous last words:.

MS/T10 are announcing the popular Tsukuba track to be in FM4, in time for TGS. It's available in both the long version and the short version.
It's speculated that the FM4 demo will be released on Thursday the 15th, as the FM3 demo was released during that time prior to TGS 2009. That's pure speculation, though.

Anyway, on topic:
Does anyone know if we can change the tire widths to something a bit more reasonable?
I mean, skinny ass tires on a 928hp Camaro Z/28 is just awful.
When I still need to be really gentle on the throttle while already moving 150mph, and can still spin them up to 170mph, something needs to change.

Yeah...that does sound kinda homosexual...even if it was a punch of women, that would sound homosexual...I've got nothing against homosexuality, but...since I'm not gay, I'll avoid it, too.

Anyway, back to the topic...Someone mentioned on facebook that T10 is headed to TGS. And they've got a Track Day coming up this weekend...Hopefully someone will post the UTH segment today, though.

Also if Indy wasn't a "sure in" before it is now.

Lets hope so, If it was indeed laser-scanned as T10 claimed, they might still have the raw data, from before widening it.

I'm not too sure they'd change the track, though, as their reasons for widening it still apply (sadly, in my opinion),

Pretty certain it was April 1st with that leaked video (really wasn't an April fools joke) and was speculated since the cover art was released.
