Yeah that would be a strange way to do it. But usually it just gives you a prompt the first time you put in the game like FM3 did which makes a ton more sense to me.

Best way is just to install everything. T10 might try that install shuffle for folks without hds

That F4 pic looks almost like its cell shaded. Its a strange look. Hopefully its just the way the pic was taken. I still think F3 looks very very good. It is also strange they removed all the spectators but I am sure its because they didnt have enough processing power. Probably pushing the 360 to its limits.

They've shown a few videos now of locations with both empty stands, partially filled stands, and full stands in the same locations.

I'm assuming on a hot-lap, time trail, or in Multiplayer they are empty as nobody really lines up to watch a single car hot lap. I assume in career mode they gradually fill up as you level up and start racing in higher class races.

Hey guys I am new to the forza scene and I am actually buying a 360 for Forza 4 (and I just need a netflix player upstairs lol) what do I need to know to make this expereince enjoyable I will not have a wheel ( i have all that stuff on my ps3 ) so most likely going to used the standard controller and maybe get a head set. still not keen on having to pay everymonth online but willing to give it a shot. any suggestions and or help will be mighty helpfull thanks !

It's going to be tough to play GT5 on a wheel and expect to get the exact same experience playing Forza with a controller. I'd HIGHLY suggest getting some type of FFB wheel for the game.

Yeah, I'd suggest something multi-platform for a wheel, but, unfortunately, the only multi-plat wheel I know of is $250. But you might be able to pick up the old Microsoft wheel for cheap on Ebay.


Other than that, I can't really think of anything to suggest.

I just refuse to spend so much anymore gaming is just freaking expensive wow.
I wont have the funds for a wheel ( maybe next fall)

I'd second that...

Aside from that, I'd recommend to keep your eyes open for a tuning calculator/learn a bit about the car tuning yourself. Being able to set your cars up to your liking is, in my opinion, an extremely valuable skill to have.

4 GB wont be enough. Either way you go for a 360 with a HDD or get some usb drives. I would go with the HDD, because you maybe play other games too and the arcade wont be enough.

yes and no you will need a usb for that

I'm pretty sure this menu item goes away when disc 2 is installed.

I'd go with an external USB HDD. Should be the cheap and easy way to solve this issue.

I did too, until I finaly memoized the track. Now, I ♥ Fujimi Kaido.

Fumiji rocks. Admittedly, Positano wasn't very fun. But hell, I felt in love with Fumiji the first time I drove on it. So much awesomeness shouldn't be allowed in a video game. And now, at last, it looks nice, because let's be honest, the track wasn't very impressive in FM3, from a graphics standpoint.

The ms wheel can be had for pretty cheap on eBay. (Around $75). Another idea is to sell the wheel you have now for the additional funds for a GT2 or TurboS.

That's god damn ridiculous.


Anyway, Fujimi Kaido looks great. I guess it's a good thing I finally started to like the track only a few weeks ago. I was kind of hopping to see a shot of the waterfall. That was the one area of FM3 that looked consistently real from almost any angle, it was a great photo spot, and it probably looks amazing with IBL.
