I wonder if it has "Gran Turismo 5" written on the wing. That's pretty cool, really. The Team Oreca Viper should have a PS1 Partnership.



Or maybe they wanted their cars to be as accurate as possible, regardless of sponsorship. And, if they asked Peugeot if they good remove that Playstation logo, they'd probably tell them they couldn't.

Well it depends, we have a bunch of people ove at fm.net that are really dissapointed with the lack of epic euro cars from the 90. I would say the car list is decent in fm4 so far..
 
It's the 2009 car (back when they were sponsored by Xbox) repainted by the player that took the pic with the 2011 livery.

You are correct. There is a 2011 in game however but with a different livery from Team Oreca.

Maybe they're just showing that they're confident enough in their game to where they have no problem advertising the competition.

That or they figure if they don't someone will on the store front so why not.

I'd say you're right but take Circuit de la Sarthe in FM3 for instance. The first chicane on the Mulsanne (the "PlayStation" chicane) doesn't have the PlayStation advertising there but the second ("Michelin") chicane has the Michelin advertising. So I think the 908 pictured was painted by someone.

I was thinking the same way, but Badned confirmed it was the livery.

Guy who did also said that it took him lots of time to make it work from FM3 to FM4 model because of the way how the metallic colors are represented.

Import? you mean from FM3? It was confirmed that we can import vynil groups from FM3 to FM4 a while ago, I think.

You can import user created vinyls into 4 from 3.

What about my livery designs? How do I bring them from Forza 3 into Forza 4?

As all of the Forza 3 cars have changed for Forza 4 (primarily in the form of cockpit, damage, and shader upgrades) we can’t import entire liveries—they just don’t map correctly. However, we do support layer group importing. Layer groups are the car-agnostic groups of vinyl shapes you can create and stamp on any car in Forza 3 and Forza 4. These are not imported with your profile after the first race. These are imported in the livery editor area. You don’t choose which ones to import. It’s an all or nothing deal. You go to “My Designs” in Forza 4 and are automatically asked about importing all groups. If you say “yes,” they all show up in our catalogue.

I had no idea where these pics were even coming from, caralsford sure is a good bloke then (he also used one of my tunes in a HLC he ran recently).

Dubai Autodrome? It would be great if Turn 10 had some surprises in store but I can't see it happening.

Great track that, though. I used to lap it endlessly in Shift 2 as it had four excellent layouts. Would be a great choice for DLC as Forza doesn't have any tracks from that part of the world.
 
I hope they put in the new 2012 F1 track thats being built in Texas as DLC.

Yeah...same here. I live about 45 mins away from it. So glad we are getting it. I doubt it will be in a game anytime soon though, sadly.

As good as that track looks I'd rather they looked at including tracks from other parts of the world which don't have any. For example:

Interlagos, Brazil
Kyalami, South Africa
Bathurst, Australia
Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Sepang, Malaysia

I think the USA is already well represented for circuits personally.
 
Lots of tracks would be welcomed. I doubt we would get much of 'em though. Like FM3, we'll probably get one track as DLC. But I don't see biggies like Spa/Bathurst coming as DLC.
 
I'd be alright with any new tracks, really, but the one I really want is the Baltimore GP track.

And yes, that is because I live only 25-30 minutes from there. Well, that and the scenery there is amazing.

I wonder if there will be any DLC Autovista Locations.....because I can think of some places I'd love to see. Maybe the rim of the Grand Canyon, or something.

Macau would be another fantastic track to add. A hugely challenging street circuit.
