I think we did but it was only certain years but they are very rare.

I don't think they were called sierra cossies but rather merkur xr4ti

And I also don't think they had everything it's euro brother had either. Don't recall exactly though

edit: sorry, ford escort cossie was a different animal i think

@ cuco33 I just edited my post after some quick research and the Escort Cossie wasn't sold here after all but im not sure of the other two you brought up.

Yup that was confirmed in the "Under the Hood 4" last week. I have been asking for that since the first game! Glad its finally added to F4. 👍

Pretty sure engine sounds changed in FM2. I can't remember about the first.

I just hope they sound at least some point realistic.

So it looks like I was right.
All spoilers are removable except the ones that have active aero involved.
Niceeee
:D

I don't know about this Perelli partnership. While it's good that they're working with an actual tire company, they're only working with one, and because of that, some cars might not handle like they should. What they SHOULD do for future FM games is work with several different tire companies. Because, let's face it, a 1965 Mustang probably doesn't come with Perellis stock. And I KNOW Spyker uses Michellins. And, besides you can't really get an accurate tire model with one set of data. (Although, they've got 2: their own and Perelli's. Still it's not enough to be completely 100% accurate.)

I would say they need at least: Falken, Goodyear, Firestone, Michellin, Toyo, Hancook and Yokohoma. With data points from all those tire companies, they'd have an excellent tire model.

Better than 0. And I am pretty sure the tire models are data in general.

See that sentence doesn't make sense really. It isn't like the car won't handle like it should. It's the car might not handle as if on it's original stock tires. There is a difference. The car should handle like a car with a set of Perrelli tires.

Pirelli alone would have enough tire compounds, grades, sizes and tread designs to get the tire model so close that any other companies would essentially just be swapping out data points. And even then it'd be very close anyways due to Pirelli already have a broad range. I think having a tire company's data alone is a huge advantage, and the more manufacturers they have could make it even better and more accurate but then again there comes a cost to all of this. I'm sure they figured they had an ROI they wanted to meet and going solely to Pirelli should give them plenty enough info to get as close as possible without going to other tire makers.

This sounds interesting.

"1v1 racing through a never-ending traffic line of slower cars"

Does this mean 1 on 1 at the same time (not one at a time) rushing through traffic?

Looks like it. Should be cool.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what exactly causes backfire?

Will it occur on any of the starting cars?

The Cinque engine bay looks roughly accurate, but the lack of shadows really does show.

That bay looks spot on.

It's unburned fuel combusting in the exhaust system, often occurs on high-performance cars with sports/racing exhaust systems.

What? I can see shadows. In a bright environment like that you can't expect harsh totally black shadows...

Yeah, sounds like it could be allot of fun. I hope they have an online option as well.

I really want to see how in depth these custom public lobby's really are. I want options similar to the private race options in FM3.

I've seen the engine bay of the car upon visiting London in August 2010, some of the details are off, unless the owner of the car I saw has modified it in some way or another. I imagine the lack of shadows are due to the studio environment the car is presented in.

Can't wait to hear the sound of those

Let's just hope the changing exhaust sounds for muscle cars don't end up like GT5s...
