Flashy presentation, I like the sound of the cloud based AI, lets see how that pans out. Grit on cars was nice, anything they can do to bring out those nice realistic details is always welcome. Looking forward to seeing what other news and features they release, still no mention of day/night cycles, or weather.

Well, D Greenawalt just confirmed you can play FM5 offline. There will also be a partnership with Thrustmaster. Greenawalt said the wheel is 'powerful'.

Still no weather/night? Is that supposed to be a surprise for us?

Open wheel race cars!!

Laser scanned tracks!!

The post E3 presser is more exciting than what was shown off at MS's E3 lol

Still not seeing dynamic weather/time. It's a big feature and I'm starting to get a bit concerned, although it's still a long way to release. Everything else looks solid so far.

Moving the simulation forward instead of just the shiny wrapper -- great news, although I'm not sure it's the best idea to allow the Drivatars to copy the habits of online racers.

One year ago today, we already knew Horizon had a day/night cycle. Hopefully they're saving it until they can show a spiffy trailer that demonstrates the lighting effects.

Nice. Looking forward to see more of the game. Such a shame that the XBONE is a huge pile of crap though.

Looking forward to see how the new dynamic AI works.

Hmm. Where the hell is my night racing T10?

Goodness gracious, it's only the first batch of significant information being released. Give 'em time....

We've "given them time" 3 times already and not once have they delivered.

Horizon doesn't count for anything, eh?

Night racing and weather might as well be confirmed to be out at this point.

Is it really such a problem that they haven't shown nighttime racing or changing weather conditions, let alone tracks other than one in Prague?

If you've waited this long for such features, then it shouldn't been much of a problem for you to give them a little more time before they show us anything significant other than the same track, cars and conditions. Right now we can't confirm anything.

All in all, not a bad day.

Sure, they didn't reveal everything, like some people would like, but it's still early yet.

Lot's of interesting tid bits from what I've seen though, and I've had the fun of watching some fanboy meltdowns on a few sites over the drivatar thing.

Not a bad day at all.

Excited to see what open wheelers get included, hopefully the McLaren partnership leads to an F1 car or two getting in.:dopey:

Open wheelers mean they finally have a genuinely new physics engine! This is the best news possible! Now, if only they'll do night racing and weather, I might buy a XBone a year after release, when they make a version that can be used offline.

If only this game was on PC, I would have no reason to get an XO

Yeah, I may not even buy a XB1... or a PS4. I'm going towards Project Cars and PC. Maybe later down the line I will get those consoles but right now it's in question.

Man, I was hoping to go for Xbox first this generation, but after Sony utterly obliterated MS in their press conference, looks like I'll be going with Playstation first yet again once GT7 is announced. I really want to get Forza 5, but with the way things are currently for the Xbox One, I won't be playing it for a very, very long time.

I'm sticking on your side MuoNiuLa, 100%. 👍

Huh? Every post you made seemed like it was 100% playstation, not once did it look like you were considering the other.

The XB1 doesn't really bother me much, that being said that the things like no used games and Internet connection is alright by me. The one thing that may sway my decision is the price alone, a $100 difference. It really all depends on my financial situation at the time of release.

Yeah, reading somethings on gaming forums as of late has just exhausted me.

As for the financial situation I agree. A $100 difference isn't much. You have to think about what you're actually getting in the package also. If I have the extra $100 then I'll be more than happy to use it.

I don't buy my games used that often so I don't have to worry and the internet connection fiasco is fine by me as long as I can atleast sign in every once and a while. It's not as bad as some people make it. It's just the fact that people don't want to read into things. They hear 'Price' and 'DRM' and their hopes get up. Mine aren't.

Also, if I do get an Xbox One I'm not paying for the XBL often or at all. I've put too much money into the 360's online.
