Forza Motorsport 6 Alpinestars Car Pack

Now, I have another question; why are we getting this dlc pack so early? I mean, since FH2's dlc packs; I've seen them normally released at the beginning of each new month on a tuesday. This time though, it's at the end of a month and on a thursday. Is there a change of schedule or something?

The Daytona 24 Hour race is this weekend. It's likely tied to getting as much out of that as possible, hence the DP car.

I'd be really annoyed if Horizon 3 doesn't ship with pretty much all of FM6's road cars. There's no excuse at this point, since they don't need to double-disc this generation.

I disagree, but that's just because I've been around long enough to know that Wolfe is more keen on the Horizon series. They target two different crowds, so getting FM to quench his thirst for Horizon just wouldn't fit.

I can see myself getting more mileage out of this pack than any previous FM6 DLC. There isn't just variety this time around, but models entirely out of left field.

That Sunbeam affinity is going to get maximised so hard, I swear.

My reaction to pretty much all of the negative comments written by twelve year olds:

I'm buzzed for this in all honesty. The Milano / 75 is a car I've wanted to see in a game for a very, very long time. I think Race Pro had it, but I never got far enough to use it. The Sunbeam could be a great little weapon when its set up right. As expected, I'm loving the attention the Japanese manufacturers are getting. It's getting harder to not believe Horizon 3 will be set in Japan at this rate!

That Ford could be a winner as well, sounded great in the trailer as well. The Cougar is another fine addition to the Group 5 stable, and its nice to have a fairly niche manufacturer being supported too. The Aztek... well, it's ridiculous, but that's why it's awesome.

Can't wait for this. Going to be downloading the SVX race mod design from @SlipZtrEm for sure.

Like @ImaRobot said, the Motorsport games aren't really for me. The lineup of cars is great as always and the physics are good enough to give them life, but for me the track list has been seriously lacking since FM4. It's not that I'm not interested in circuit racing, it's that Turn 10 and I are somehow not at all on the same page with regard to what makes for an enjoyable circuit.

I apologize for coming to this subject whenever I poke my head in these subforums, but the PS4 and XBone have been very underwhelming overall, making it difficult to choose how to complement my Wii U for my racing needs.

I had been thinking for awhile but the track selection drove me away a tad. However, now that there's an SVX, hell, I wouldn't even have to drive it, just seeing it rendered in current generation graphics is enough for the purchase!

Also excited for the Sunbeam, Mercury and Corolla.

Last Pack was much better.
Some might be happy with all those random cars but this isn't doing for me at all. And I would have preferred the Corvette Daytona Prototype tbh.
EBay motors and Ralph Lauren Pack were miles ahead.

The Ultimate Edition is well worth the price, IMO: VIP status is always a good thing, plus the Car Pass is remarkable value with all these great packs (although admittedly nowhere close to Driveclub's pretty much perfect Season Pass).
And yes, the IMSA Cougar is a welcome addition, and even got me an idea. How about if we all do some IMSA GT racing? Preferably at the Glen, or Hockenheim!

All I can post about this is, I'm. Able to make just about any car I want. Authentic or inspired replication. T10 wouldn't keep dishing these cars out if there isn't big coming. If you're not totally into circuits, I believe we will see point to point events.

From my magazine collection, I'm making this.

It would be a cruel joke if I couldn't take this and the RX-3, on a touge downhill. T10 will look out for us.

That's no problem at all. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. 👍. I'm the same way but opposite, I do like the horizon games a lot, but enjoy the Motorsport games way more. I heard something about Forza maybe introducing a 3rd title into the rotation? If so, a proper Rally game would be excellent. Dirt, Snow, gravel, and pavement. And they definitely would have a proper start up with the cars they already have. Sorry this is off topic lol.

I actually called the IMSA Cougar over in the Make Your Own FM6 DLC thread. I'm surprised and pleased. This whole pack is excellent and I can't wait for it.
