That would be me trying to get back on course after crashing...and I was actually leading for about 20 seconds! :banghead: I still love my RWD Civics though.

Looks good Guys.

Am I the only one who finds it restricted having a single thread for the whole club?
Hard to get topics off the ground when multiple discussions are happening.
Would be nice to find out who's tuning, who's attacking leaderboards etc on a club basis.
Hard to do all that in one thread. Also it wouldnt. be fair to other clubs etc to start multiple threads.

If you want to start a thread relating to the club, I am sure just starting the title "FPM:" would suffice. I agree that it is sometimes hard to find stuff in the one thread.

Personally, I have found I have the most time to actually race on Sunday and Monday, days that are off days between when the race occurs and the the announcement of the next race. It would be nice to have a season schedule of some sort, or pick the track we will qualify on a little earlier.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

This weeks qualifying event:

Rivals>Autocross>Italia (Mugello)

Saturday's race: 2pm est

Car: 1991 BMW M3 modded and tuned for B-Class

Track: Nurburgring GP Short Circuit, 15 laps

*** as usual a loaner car will be provided. I'll let you guys know as soon as it's in the club garage.

***ALERT*** Next week I will announce qualifying on Monday morning and that Saturday's race will be run at a different time just to switch things up and give other members a better opportunity to race. I will announce the time on Monday when I announce the weeks events.

I don't see a problem with that. I just hope the mods don't either.

I'd like to do a schedule of some sort but It's hard to schedule too far in advance and know for sure that I will be available at that time. I will give it some thought.

I can try and announce qualifying Monday mornings in the future to give more members such as yourself a better opportunity to qualify. I may also do an occasional Sunday morning race.

So, do you have to be a member of the Car Club to race these events? My Car Club is running 3 races a week, and I can only commit to one race due to work, and I am needing more fun races!

Yes but you are welcome to join the rest of the races after the official Saturday race. (we run a bunch of races just for fun immediately after our official scheduled race.)

Tonight, come and play online.(In about 2 or 3 hours) If we got enough people online we could play TG Soccer, that'll be fun!

Marmite, thanks for the fun!

I may be on around that time for a few minutes. I"ve never played soccer before, so I doubt I'd be any good at it.

I'm going to give this a try :D

Sorry guys for not attending in any of the races yet despite being qualified. I just didn't really had a chance, since I always end up being few hundred kilometers away from home on weekends. Looking forward to it sometime though!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

It has come to my attention that Soldier 95B has chosen to step down from his VP co-leader status from the club however he will still be a member. A big thanks goes out to Soldier for being our VP for the first month of our campaign.

With that being said it was the job of our leaders to find a replacement and after some careful consideration the choice became obvious.

So without further delay I am happy to introduce our new VP and co-leader crispychicken49!!

Congrats Crispy!

On another note, I'm not sure what the time over there is but locally, this is a better time for me to do racing (9:30-10:00am)

6pm here. I have been thinking of having one Saturday per month at around this time and was actually thinking that for next Saturday (Nov, 19)

Will have to see how it goes :)

But a 5am wake up to start racing at 5:15am is a little ridiculous for me lol.

 I totally understand. That's why I made the statement in today's announcement about switching up the start time every now and then to give members such as yourself a better opportunity to join in. Who knows, that may end up getting better turn-outs and if that's the case then I will most likely making that the normal time instead of the current 2pm est.

Thank you everyone!

I just want to say, I have a few things in the pipeline, some very fun things I might add! Looking forward to racing with you guys!

Congrats crispychicken on your promotion.

Also, just as last week, I'll probably won't be able to attend Saturday's race, due to other commitments. I'll try to better my time though in qualifying. I know I can squeeze some more time out, but I keep hitting a stupid barrel, and screws up my lap.

I guess i have some more work to do then. I didn't hit anything (finally!! :D) on the lap I just ran but I only beat you by less than a half sec. Well... I'm first for now anyway.

On another note, This weeks loaner is in our garage. Below is a picture of it.

Finally, I managed to not hit a barrel, and got back on top with a 2:57.867.

Also, finally was gifted my RX7 from doing the pre-order incentive program.

Ayo Jube, one of the Turn 10 Community Team:

"For those confused a spirit-R was sent out to those on the pre-order incentive list. We will be sending out the other cars soon."

That's fast! My time is 3.15' and hit one barrel.. =(

Nice loaner Chris, I'll be happy to use it!

Same here, Forcone took pole, and shaved off a second, off my time.

Edit: Scratch that, I think it's around 4 seconds now.

My god this one's difficult! I just did a ~two hour session with the Delta. So so hard to get a clean lap, and drive fast at the same time. :banghead:

During these last two hours, I think I managed only 4 or 5 clean runs. Think I need to tweak the car a bit more, just made a random setup from top of my head. :) For example ARB front and back at 1, just killing the roll with stiff springs and dampers, the proper way!

And I think I need some kind of a brave-pill to push it that little bit faster. Though that #1 time seems quite impossible.

Make that 7 seconds!! :scared:

Difficult?? Your 4th overall!! Way to go!! 👍 That's fast as hell. Way to represent the club too! That's awesome to see an FPM member near the top of a leaderboard.

I know what you mean about trying to just get a clean lap. If I hit just one barrel, I just hit restart because I know it wont be the lap I need. I did about an hour this morning and took off about a second off what I had last night. I had one lap that I thought for sure would have been first (before when you had a 2:57.xxx) but then got too relaxed and hit the barrel on the last 2 gates. :banghead:

I swear the Lambo is just too wide sometimes. I get the nose in and then turn just a little too soon and hit the barrel with the back end. I may try something else. Luckily I have Friday off. :D
