This car is MY car tuned to a certian class or a car from the Club garage?

You can use your own or use the loaner that I provide in the club garage.

How are qualifing times collected and posted?

A rivals events is used. Whoever is in the top 12 officially qualifies. Note: Until we start getting allot of members racing then you won't necessarily need to qualify to be in the race. I have been just inviting the entire club to race since we haven't been able to fill a lobby. Note 2: Our Club Championship starts the first week of the year so qualifying will also be given points to make it more meaningful.

How long do I get the chance to qualify?

In most cases I announce the qualifying on Monday morning and you have until midnight est on Friday night. Also this past week and the upcoming week will be the only foreseeable altered weeks that the race is not run on the usual Saturday due to it landing on X-mas and New Years eve.

Who ever gets into the race with the best qualify time, do they all get in a private lobby and race???

At the moment everyone that is online at the time of the race is able to race if they wan't since we haven't been able to fill a room. But.... as I said before once the Club Championships start qualifying will have much more meaning.

Sounds pretty good....Now my next question is since at this time I only have z71chris as a friend....without having EVERYONE as a friend how do I know if your racing....As of now I can only tell when chris is online......I mean I dont have enough room on my friends list for everyone...how do yall handle that??...Or should I ask which one of yall is ALWAYS racing..=)

If your just looking for some random racing with club members, you can go into online race, then select create lobby, then go to the bottom and select invite club members. That will invite all club members that are online to race. Then just give it a minute or two and see how many members you can get to join.

You can send a friend request to Teewiggs if you have room on your friends list. I'm on quite often and always looking for a clean online race.

Too bad you can't make it. This should be an interesting race as there aren't a lot of good places for clean passing on such a short course.

Wiggs, I like that course a lot and and with 20 laps nobody needs to feel the race is over at the first corner, going off will take a lot of laps to recover, so clean passing should be the order of the day. Hope you all have some good racing

You're right, and we have a lot of clean drivers with plenty of skill and good racing etiquette. The cars will probably be pretty close thru the first few laps anyway...so hopefully there won't be any accidents.

Me too! Have been playing it whole day yesterday and a few hours today, such a great game!! Almost Forza territory.... ;D I'll make the race though.

God I wish my wheel works properly this time. I'm testing my RWD Escort at the moment. Best I've done so far is 50.739! I think we'll have a great race if enough people turn out! On the other hand, on such a small technical track we will have a great race even though we had only a few drivers!

One of my favorite tracks actually!

I suggest using a little smaller amount of rotation for the wheel at first. I used to do all my racing and drifting with 900 deg rotation, but had to turn it down for that Aston we qualified in. Now I'm running 540 deg of rotation and it's really nice for racing! At least for me!

Yeah me too, I'm letting the wheel cool down and pray for the best! If all ten of us join, we'll be having such an intense race!

edit: BTW I'm not plugging my mic in for the race if it is what causes my issues with the wheel!

I took a short break, then I did a 20 lap test run, to get a feel for the loaner car. I tried building my own, but I suck at tuning, and the best I could pull out of that car, was 52 seconds. With the loaner car, I was consistently in the low to mid 51, with my best lap at 50.7

I would recommend a couple to read the OLR, not going to name any names. Many times I found many front runners at the back of the pack. If someone's on the inside of a turn, don't move in on them, your going to cause an accident. Also, if someone's braking into a turn, and you might hit them, slam your brakes. It might jeperodize the race, but it's better than causing an accident.

I'm sorry for the people who are practicing safe racing, but for those who aren't, you might want to start. Maybe it's just because it's the day after Christmas, so some of us are all riled up. Please, next time, be cautious.

I'm sorry for the people who are practicing safe racing, but for those who aren't, you might want to start. Maybe it's just because it's the day after Christmas, so some of us are all riled up. Please, next time, be cautious.

There were a few unintentional pits, but there was some totally wreckless driving too. When I bumped someone unintentionally I backed off and gave them position back. A couple of times I was hit from behind and that made me hit the car in front of me...but I was totally run off the track more than once today and everyone just flew by me.

By the way, Carlos, you were super fast in the first two corners as it seems! You just seem to have made the mistake to keep the original gearing, which sucks!! That fifth is intended for some kind of salt lake top speed trials! That's why I left you in the dust in the last corner every time...!

This, and people must be careful coming back on track. You can't just swing back in the middle of the lane, people are driving there...

Oh man, nothing to add here! That was awesome!!! I'm at work now, but when I come home I'm going to check the replay.

And yes I was running the stock gears In my testlaps I was running low 50's, I thought it was fast enough.. Also, did you do the brake upgrade? Becaus it looked like I could brake so much harder then you did, think this is the reason I could keep up with you a couple of laps..
