I just make sure I'm smooth on brake release and trailbraking with it, rally style footwork is a pain for me as I'm a right foot braker. :indiff:

Basically, if you're too aggressive coming off the brakes and too aggressive with the steering inputs, you'll spin. đź‘Ť

I have a wheel stand that makes right foot braking almost impossible so I learned left foot braking, I always felt natural using my left foot.

Ah, I have a wheel stand that can facilitate right foot braking. Anyway, left foot braking felt (and still feels) really awkward for me. I do left foot brake on some corners to help pull the car round sometimes, but I right foot brake most of the time. :)

Im now going to do some testing, so if anyone wants to do some ive got a lobby open.

Edit: Ive just done 20mins on testing and I was wondering why I was such off the pace I was testing with comfort softs on :lol:

Haven't done any testing since the last race but I think I know what I'll be going with anyway.
 
Soz guys, not going to be around tonight. Hoped to make it back in time but no chance now.

I'd not realised either that I'm not here next week - getting married on Saturday and it hadn't twigged that we're away for it Friday night so obviously I'm out of racing. We're then on honeymoon for three weeks so it looks like I've done my first and last race. I had hoped/thought I'd be good for the first three races.

Anyway, sorry for dropping out, but I hope it turns out to be a good series and I'll join any future series that spin off from this.
 
Weird, had a perfect setup whilst practising in private, now on the public server I have a ridiculous amount of oversteer :/

Argh, confused and angry, was doing consistent 24.2 in practice, 23.8 qualy, now couldn't break 25.0... the car was completely different despite the setup being the same :s

Edit: and the understeer + oversteer at the same time was even more ridiculous lol, in practice it was like on rails :D

If you need help with the tune, I have (no thanks to you) a lot of expereance making a Vette grip.

Sorry about my race craft today, I was really messy. Just didn't get any practice. But my car was fast here and made up for my driving.

I kept getting disconnected, DC'd out of first race and tried to rejoin about a dozen times before it worked, glad I got back in and glad I stuck with it in the second race after a spin or two had me frustrated. Had a great battle with jhodas in the final five laps, really fun good clean racing which really made my day :)

unfortunately froze after the race so I didn't save replay :(
 
Race 1. I was running in 5th place quite comfortable then on lap 8 on the last turn I hit the grass and spun into the pit lane :mad:.

Race 2. I got a good start and got in the lead after the first turn, then I was in the lead for 5 laps then carracer overtook me :(. After that I thought I would pit early and it worked well because I pulled a massive gap to seven.
