Yep, lost it at 3, came on at 5. 12 and a bit minutes into the session. When I went off, I coasted back to the where the east paddock is, and pulled off onto the dirt. That was where I spent the rest of quali.

By the time you wrote "**** HSV", i'd been there for the best part of a minute.
 
Haven't been outside the top 4 all season so far.

Yes, mainly because I was on a hot lap. Even if accidental, it was pretty poor to just bury throttle with no regard for anyone else.

Well sorry, it was a mistake. I've saved RWD's in the past by burying the throttle, and it just didn't work out this time.

so the Mazda is a bit of a dog eh? Somehow pulled off a 19.2 in Q1 and a 19.3 in Q2 and was about half a second quicker than panoz (in the other Mazda), who is usually quicker than me, so I must have been doing something right but of course was nowhere near the front of the field. Race 1 was ok, benefited from other peoples offs and finished 10th. My goal coming into the race, besides having fun and not getting in anyone's way, was to get a top 10 so I was happy with that. 11th in race 2, 13th in race 3.
