Frst GTPSP Hybrids

I found the adress for selected car.Now we can edit its parts.I found CHASIS ,ENGINE, DRIVETRAIN,TRANSMISSION,LSD,Suspension and Brake adresses.
Good news part codes are same with GT4.I used engine codes for GT4 and it worked.
Here are the codes
EDIT:These codes are for US version of GTPSP they dont work on EU version.
(These are sample empty adresses you must enter values to work)

All we need is now GT4 parts list.I m sure here there are lots of list.I found some lists on this site and tried them.

Now selected car of yours has Skyline R34 GTR m engine. :D
I m sending some lists for parts.Codes work same just replace them.
After changing part ,reselect the car.
Some of them not working with all parts.Be carefull these lists are for GT4.Not all the cars are in GTPSP.

Edit:If you add to car your favorites it stays tuned :D (Stays after restarting)

Parts list is not fully functional.Dont use modifying parts.etc. race exhaust ,sport suspension.
But you can use normal parts from race cars.
codes are like this

Use the values exactly.but address are for gt4.For gtpsp use my codes.
The tires on the list are for GT4 .GTPSP has different values.

Actually i was expecting someone to do it. :D
Thats a very long process but i m working on it.I m currently refining gt4 lists.There are lots of useless parts and cars in those lists.But dont expect me a tire list they are different from gt4 and more than 14000 codes. :D
Any help is appreciated.

I can imagine!
I never got a chance to Hybrid in GT4, but i was heavily into GT2 hybriding and there was heaps of codes on that alone.
once we get a list we could see if these cars work in ADHOC mode. That would make for some crazy online compitition!

Just use standart parts.I mean dont use a race exhaust of a car ,use a race cars standart exhaust :D
Its confusing at the beginning but when you got the idea its easy.I already posted hundreds of parts.
It will be good if they work adhoc but my worst fear is about those series running araund now.I dont want to blow of the competitions because of a naughty child.

i just tried my luck with a DB9 Drivetrain....no dice!

as for the ADHOC PARTY COMPS, we could create a league just for Hybrids. It'll be hard to govern, given the fact that you can't see the drivetrain, engine and power but that could also make it all the more fun.
 
is there codes to add/remove turbo sounds?
Also, we need to try and find a code so that it displays the cars actual KW/HP on the icon!

Thats a static image i believe, you cannot alter it without changing the car image too

That sucks!
i'm kinda excited about this hybriding, but i have to say, no where near as excited as i was with GT2 hybriding.
There was just so much more you could do. Where as with this game, well change engine and Drivetrains is fun but only to an extent.
 
Does anyone have the GT4 Codes from the eu/pal release. Or tell me where i can obtain them, it's quite frustrating and i want to hybrid. :(

Turbo engines seems to be not accepting exhaust sound.If you add a exhaust to turbo engine it disables the sound .3 rd person cam has a low sound with this.Add an exhaust to NA engine thats another story :D
Try combining different parts for different sounds.
Edit:I noticed turbo car exhaust work with turbo engine.

While i was experimenting with power values i found the address of hp display.(not on the small icon.the one that displays when you select the car ,top left corner).
But its address changing everytime you select another car.In short its not quite possible.But if you add your car to favorites and go to quick tune menu after at least one race ,you can see the new values.
I keep track of my hybrids that way. :D

I m not sure but i think EU version uses the same part codes.The difference is the addresses.
If you know a little use of any cheat devices (cwcheat or codepr) try looking for the addresses yourself.
Select a car search the values for parts than change the car search again.

Also whats the Sprinter Trueno's default, CWCheat sucks for mem viewing, and the PRs are very crashy for me, maybe ill try a memory dump

I didnt try all of the setting .Try increasing or decreasing values slowly.

Yes ,Cwcheat is messy.I m using disassemler rather than memory search .You can add adresses from dissambler directly.its much more usefull.
you can use changes finder too.Its easy that way .
 
I cannot seem to view those addresses properly, they are all 0s when i view the address in teh car i want to see the ratio for :s I must be doing it wrong.

HELP! The codes don't work! I made sure a have the US version, cwcheat is working properly, and yet nothing happens when I insert the codes... :mad:

What I do: I go to the main menu, turn the cheats on (engine, chassis and gearbox cheat at the same time), select the car from the car library, change the setting and go to the pre-race screen. When I race, nothing is happening, not even a sign the code is working!

When I check the advanced vehicle settings, there is no change at all, where there must be 700hp is something...

I dont understand where the problem is.They must work if you do properly.
Your are doing right.
Enter code,select car go to race.thats it .If you add car to favorites ,parts will be saved.
Check your cwcheat again.Check the codes.
Start with engine code alone.

If it works try others but first be sure engine is working.
