It ain't too hard. You need to just pick some sounds that will work together. Other than that, just make a beat to it, and VOILA! you've got music.
 
fuity loops is the best if u really want to start producing your own stuff once u get better u should switch to reason
 
I might get a certificate in sound engineering through my school over the summer...lets see how much I learn there :D
 
btw, the song was pretty cool... I lost my good ones to a virus over the summer else i'd show u my stuff too.

In a day or 2, i'm planning on making one with the sole purpose of killing my woofer :D. I just gotta spend some time with the synthesizers - and relearn piano roll
 
Fruity Loops is great fro beginers, but If you want good profesional programs, then I suggest: Pro Tools, Acid Pro, Reason, Reaktor. ;)
 
Yeah, I tried Reaktor and wasn't very satisfied with their interface. I had a copy of Acid Pro, but it was an old copy and it wasn't very good. Don't know about the newer one, though. I heard it was pretty good.
