Enough Said

OH...

1st: gtp community whine cuz last DLC was lame :(
2nd: Upcoming DLC details released, become best DLC
3rd: gtp community stop whining about lame DLC and proceed to whine about price

The premium jag will get a lot of miles on it.

Hopefully the Toyota GT One gets the same treatment

Actually, I hope they'll include it so I won't read about that contraption anymore. (and then you all start demanding the next 'it' car which is even faster....:grumpy:)

Exactly!!! Probably won't be faster.. Its just because the Agera is actually one of my favourite Super cars, along with the Zonda F roadster, and a few others..

The next IT car for me, (cars) Will be the new muscle cars.
2012 Mustang - FAR superior to the Pig we have now.
Cadilac CTS-V Coupe
2012 Mercedes C63 Coupe (Black series maybe)
next gen M5 would be cool
BMW E30 M3!!

Back to the thread.. This isn't a wishlist

Following the pattern used on the current DLC:

1 classic car
2 everyday cars
1 sports car
1 super car
1 race car

We got some big chances on seeing one of those Bimmers in the next packs. Seriously, as a Bimmer lover, I really want a Bimmer on the next DLC. I'll take anything, even an 850i. :sly:

Terminator (SVT Cobra R)

The 2000 Cobra R is not a Terminator. The Cobra R was a very limited (about 300 cars) production track car. It was a bare bones car (no radio, no A/C, etc...) It had a naturally aspirated 5.4L engine (385hp). There was not a "regular" Cobra produced in 2000. 1999 and 2001 had a "regular" Cobra with a naturally aspirated 4.6L engine. They skipped 2002, and the 2003-2004 Cobras were considered the Terminator, as they had an Eaton Supercharged 4.6L engine with an underrated 390hp. I would love to have a premium Terminator in this game though, and I would pay good money for it.

I would love to replicate my IRL 2001 Cobra, if we had that car and a simple livery editor. My car has 2003-2004 body parts (front bumper, side skirts, and rear spoiler).
It's a little dirty:

IMO, PD isn't going to add in new companies anytime soon. So here's what I have in mind for DLC Car Pack 4:
Toyota GT-ONE (TS020) '99 (Standard To Premium Conversion)
Chevy Corvette C6 Grand Sport '10
Ford Mustang BOSS 302 Laguna Seca Edition '11
Fiat 500 Abarth '08
Honda NSX Concept '12 (Hopefully)

I could care less for the Aventador, but adding it is fanstastic. and yes.

KOENIGSEGG AGERA R!!!

AND...MAYBE...PREMIUM VEYRON!!!
keep dreaming. I seriously doubt that PD would bring any manufactor that isn't in the game already...

Apart from Porsche when the EA exclusive licence expires ;)

I, for one, am happy. I am most looking forward to the Mini (I see a lot of these IRL ;)) and the Bug. But the other cars are great too. And I am glad we get another Premium LMP.
As for the "Standard to Premium" complaints, I don't think they are valid. This Jag is a brand new car. Period. They didn't "upscale" the Standard model. They started from scratch and laser scanned this car just as if the Standard version never existed.

At this stage adding new manufacturers is highly unlikely.

That list looks great to me!

I think the NSX Concept will be a free car. Similar to the GT86.

yeah, I'm with you. Maybe on v.2.04

I would really like this ones:
BMW M5 V8
Italia Spyder
RUF CTR3(Carrera Gt)
Jag XKR-S
BMW 1M

not very unlikely. we will see

Ahem....according to Space Empire, Route X is...30km in length!!!!

About 2 mins a lap with the X2011? I'm still hanging out for the Audi R18 and a proper 1995-96 McLaren F1 GTR.

Just seen that on the japanese GT5 site. The DLC will be available on the Tokyo Auto Show, something like that. It says that 1 straight is 12km and the whole track is 30km. o.O

Well I cant read Japanese. I guess I could have used google translator or whatever. Thank goodness for Space Empire. He is my favorite member of GTP now.

I would pay $10 just for the Boss 302 Laguna Seca...so pretty:drool:

Love the car choice ....BUT 1960s Beetle? Why not 1960s Classic Japanese? At least they are good for racing and are sporty. Quite VW heavy these past 2 updates.

More Group C!!! loving that.

Mini r60! YES ONE STEP CLOSER TO THE COUNTRYMAN WRC!

Nissan LEAF! YES! one step closer to the NISMO Leaf RC. (LEAF RC VS CR-Z TC RACE!)

The beetle was one of the most widely raced cars....ever.

CTR3 is not Carrera GT Based.

Anyone find any promotional pictures for the Countryman, XJR-9, and V12 Vantage? All I can find are the Beetle, Leaf, and Aventador.

what a load of rubbish this new dlc will be.. rubbish cars and another damn oval track which we do not need. also us in uk are getting ripped off with the pricing structure. $3.99 does not = £3.19 but more like £2.60

what a load of Awesome this new dlc will be.. Awesome cars and another rich oval track which we do need. also those in AU pay more than any other CONTINENT. blah blah blah blah bloop bleeep blop bop boop

Think the variety of the cars is great, not sure if I will get the track, will wait for more details.

Am I the only one excited for the Aston?

:drool::drool::drool::drool:

I'm excited about the aston the most, then followed by the lambo, then the mini which means now I can bring along mates in my mini, and then the leaf and the beetle last

The XJR9 is one of the cars that just barely wasn't finished in time for the final release, together with the VW Scirocco (included in the previous car pack DLC) and the Ferrari 365GTB/4 (not included yet).

Yamauchi said it here: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201012/16036986.html

Akira, were there any other cars Kaz mentioned in that interview that have not seen the light of day yet? Or is it just those 3?

Just those three, and they were examples, so there might have actually been more that were almost ready when GT5 was released. I think one of them might have been the '66 VW Beetle which will be introduced in the next car pack DLC. They must have got photos and data of it at the same time as the Kuebelwagen, the Schwimmwagen and the Sambabus.

There is another car in the DLC pack that could fall into the same "not finished in time for release" category as the Scirocco, and that would be the Leaf:

TC: Oh yeah, that’d be interesting. We, at our website, we cover electric cars sometimes, like the Tesla or some of the less fast ones like the Leaf and the Volt. Are there any plans...actually I don’t know if they are included in Gran Turismo 5, in the cars, but are there plans on including the electric cars in any kind of a future version of Gran Turismo?

Kazunori Yamauchi: Yeah, of course. They’ll be in.
