Sure...with engine swaps and highly modified bodies, suspension etc. I think MAX tuning this 66 Beetle will get you like 80HP.

If you use the '49 Standard Beetle as example, probably yes (not sure how many bhp that has fully tuned, it's lower than a 100 I think), if you use the Karmann Ghia as example (which is much closer in age but has a 1500cc engine instead of the Beetles 1200cc one) you probably look at more than 120 bhp.
I don't think it'll have the same power as a fully tuned Samba bus (around 212 bhp) unfortunately, even though it also has a 1200cc engine and is 4 years older but you'll never know.
Even the Fiat 500 can be tuned to almost 90 bhp so I think the '66 Beetle will have more fully tuned.
 
10 bucks for a few cars and a track. Total rip off.

I'm loving the car pack (except the mini) and will buy it day one.
On the other hand as much as i want to record 0-60 & top speed times i'm just not sure whether it's worth getting this route x, seems like a lot of money for a couple of 12km long straights and 2 corners connecting them together.
But fair play to PD once again! people request a high speed test track perfect for drag racing and they deliver once again, this will more than please them people.
 
I think I'll hold back on buying the track pack for a bit just to see the feedback and how it looks entirely. Definately buying the car pack day one though.

I really looking forward to the 3rd Car DLC and i will buy it.

I have 1 question.... What is the hype of the (in my oppinion stupid and overpriced )track pack (not spa) about? GT5 hasn´t a Drag Mode. Why are almost 90% of the people happy about a 30km stupid long road?

i dont wanna hate. Just want to know some reasons or oppinions

I don't think it is very likely, although it maybe a possibility.

With the GT86, we already had one in the game, got a version for upgrading to 2.0, and then got one for downloading the first DLC

If they'd have included either of the later 2 as part of a car pack, this forum would have cried out in horror

maybe one of them was intended for car pack 2? speculation here?

However, the NSX is a completely new car, it'll be great to be given it, but I think our expectations are being raised unfairly here .... It isn't spec 3.0, nor did we have the option of buying 2 DLCs in the last set. So I think it very unlikely that we will.

Bit disappointed that we're expecting free gifts from PD ... don't remember getting many free things from very many organisations, online or off
 
If the NSX was a free Car they would have said it already.

And Please don't turn this into another Wishlist :indiff:

Of course like other games out there. But the Track is a perfekt Drag Track and there is no Drag Mode included. And i think this course is boring.

I would understand the hype if there will be a Drag mode with this dlc or a track like spa. But a real huge hype about a simple road which is simply a long road?

Seriosly?

BTW: They have to make a Drag Mode so this Track DLC would make sense.

They don't have to do anything. They already implemented speed tests and a G-Force test to go with the track. Makes perfect sense to me.
 
They would have to add drag tires. Can't see them doing that tbh.

But it makes sense that you can actually play SPA without buying it online (if another person hosts the lobby) and it makes sense that you can drive the special event on spa without buying it. And it makes sense that you can´t use your track DLC in the ASPEC /BSPEC offline, cause they dont add any Events which use the track or other tracks.

And i would like to see event (online/offline) which use the content in a good way and give us a reason to buy it. And i think the SPA Topic is a bug is it?

I bought all DLC, but i want to see things added because offline the DLC (especelly the Track DLC) makes no sense.

And i hope they will ad events and the Drag mode , cause it´ll make sense to me. Otherwise the track has no use for me.

But i now what you mean. you like the DLC and i think it is worthless at the moment. So 2 oppinions :)

I for one do not car about the veyron. Highly over-rated....

PD should employ a new method to decide which car to make premium. The most used car standard car in the game gets that treatment - one every 1 or 2 months? and it just keeps going down the list....:)
 
Need patch for the drifter ..... Swap engine, real drift car .... Beetle, custum paint
 
i hope they converted the xjr lm to premium instead of just giving everyone a free standard one...

In my opinion that's a pretty good set of cars..
Except for the Nissan they just HAD to squeeze in there.. :rolleyes:

The Speed Test Course Pack will also become available at that time for $3.99 which includes the Route X test course and an apparent new “Speed Test” mode that allows you to exactly measure your mile, quarter-mile, and acceleration numbers. Along with g-force.

The Drag Racers (myself Included) will hopefully be able to run this track online!

So long as the prices are identical in AUD as they are in USD, I think its fairly priced, irritating that I can't re-use my $2.XX from last time, but, still.
 
Not going to happen Conza mate. Our stuff is from a different PSN store so will be the FOREX equivalent of the UK price (EU store).
