I specially like the Lotus because of it's better speed on the straits(fastest of all road car besides the R390,GT-One........in my opinion)but I chose for the Supra because of it's better looks.

TVR Speed 12 and Tuscan Speed 6 for me, I also like the Lotus Esprit sport 350, motorsports Elise and the Aston Martin Vanquish.

The Lotus Esprit Sport350 and its sister V8-SE are the only cars, along with the Ruf RGT, to stand up to 1000+ hp tuning with no other modifications and still handle well. The 1000hp Supra is completely undriveable without significant alterations. The Viper and Speed 12 are basically undriveable in the first place, so don't change much (although they're really rather fun).

And I believe, outside the race cars, the 1110hp Viper is actually the quickest (straight line) car in GT3 (I think it's actually the quickest FR overall too).

I think you're wrong buddy,I looked up my speed records:

Lotus: 451.7km/h
Viper:446.1km/h

The lotus accelerates in the begin more slower but it pushes harder when over 400km/h.And the Oreca isn't a speed challenge at all,it can't get further then 440km/h.

None of the above. Give me a RUF RGT over anything in the game for almost any race (it can enter).

Second choice would be the Skyline r34, then a Viper GTS, then a NSX type-r

How dare you :), the Speed 12 hadles great imo, fully tuning it and getting the suspension right does tame it a good deal, it's always hard to drive but I do think once you get the hang of it's massive power, you can zip it round corners quite well.

The Speed 12 has great handling if you setup the suspension right. Even if keep it stock it still has pretty good handling all u have to do is drive it on the complex string a couple of laps to get use to it.

Heh, some good ideas from you guys, for me to try out, since I'm just goin' through my second run of GT3 ... tnx for info!

I don't care about taming it - and I hold every record it's possible to hold in the unmodified version (FR class, PD Cup; FR class, Trial Mountain Endurance).

If you've genuinely got that top speed in the Lotus Esprit, tell Racing-Line, because it's a world record (although your Viper speed is a little slow).

Only make sure you've actually done it by the rules, and didn't do a couple of reverse laps first...

Atlast, somebody else who thinks the Speed 12 handles bad.

Anyway, back on topic. I don't know what car handles best fully modded, as I don't fully mod my cars.

Please read more carefully.

The Speed 12 is fundamentally undriveable - Peter Wheeler, the boss of the company that makes it, said those exact same words.

However, I enjoy it more than ANY other car in the game and drive it at every given opportunity.

Although I love cars like the RX-7 and the STi 22B coupe, I would have to say that if I could buy any road car I wanted, I would buy two.

A Porsche 996 TT hardtop for me,
A Porsche 996 TT convertible for the wife.

Both would benefit muchly from a visit to Mr. Gemballa (sp?)

Otherwise a pair of very warmed RUF CTR2's. Mmmm.

Although my wife wouldn't sneeze at an SL-55 AMG either, but that's another story...
5.5L supercharged V8
350kW
700Nm

Yesterday I saw on national geografic some words from RUF - husband and wife, who mod porsches :). Very nice, might I add. Re-run today at 21:00 CET.

I personally like CTR2 very much,. It has nice top speed for a street legal car :).

He said that at a press conference, he was asked how people were meant to drive one home from work, and he replied, they can't. in an interview by EVO he also went on to say how he drove the car home from the factory and it scared him ****less, he also said how much he loved the car, but it was just too much for the roads and wouldn't want people to kill themselves or other people in one.

Yes I agree I never FULLY MOD my cars hell I dont even think I have ever put a Stage 3 turbo/NA stage 2 on my car and race it.

Actually, Ruf do mod Porsches, but the Ruf's in GT games are Ruf's and not Porsches, thoes are manufactured by Ruf but anyone with a Porsche can take it to Ruf and let them mod the hell out of it.

Aie! Aberrant possessive apostrophes!

*lights a gas main*

A 500hp monster with weight stage 3, trany upgrades and some decent tires is better than many cars with the same hp. In gt4 i cant wait to use the RS6, E55 AMG and the M5.

live4speed: Yep. I didn't say, they are not porsches :). They are moded porsches. Zhey are even better than some of the original.

I REALLY hope that the turbo-R (on base of 996 Turbo) will be in GT4. As I have seen that show yesterday again, must tell about it drifting on the Nordschleife. And it's under 4 sec 0-100km/h .... It's crazy beautiful car.

Sedan? I love that fully moded Altezza RS200 with 450+HP ... it's great. And I drift A LOT with CLK 55 (600HP+) ... This car just won't go straight :) (have shortened transmission a bit, so it will do about 26+ km/h top). And love the start with it - standstill in 6th gear up to the RPM limiter with spinnin' rear wheels. And then I lest go of the brake and the car barely moves :).

The Ruf Turbo R is not a modified Porsche. It is a Ruf Turbo R. It does not start out life as a Porsche - it is built from the ground up by Ruf GMbH.

And it is in GT4, at least according to the UK owner of one who had it photographed and recorded by PD.
