You do realize that the "pic at the top of the page" isn't necessarily the same for everyone, right?
 
Well some of us just love dogs and hate cats so...I think they're quite humorous :)

Army Regulation 670-1

The regulation states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. However, an upside down American flag is. :p Auctually it doesn't matter. Some people even have the odasity of burning the flag, so why should this be such a big matter?

That flag is correct. Nothing "backwards" about it. It would only be backwards if he was holding/flying it in one hand by the stripes instead of the stars.
