I've just realised I may have to explain that to the US contingent. Scotland and England have different money, which is legal tender in each country. However, a lot of English shops refuse to take Scottish notes, claiming they're not legal tender, or they're easier to forge, etc. Which makes Scottish people very upset.

Can't you all get along? Alabama doesn't print their own money.
