I laughed quite a bit at the Degrassi shot.

My brother ran into another cast member in a bar back when the show was still running (or right after, can't remember) and the poor kid was getting heckled constantly, all night, for his participation in the series.

Not wanting to drag this too far off-topic... but I don't see how a kid who's never been somehow knows enough about Toronto to make that assumption. Toronto does have some bad areas.

Its true, and all of which The Drake has never visited. The only time he's probably even driven through Scarborough (roughest area of the GTA) was on his way to the Toronto Zoo. :lol:

Toronto has some sketchy areas man... The portrayal of Canada as a peaceful land of drunk hockey nuts is dead wrong. Toronto has just as many bad areas and drug/gang related violence as any American city.

EDIT: I'm not trying to say Toronto's a "hardcore badass gangster city", I'm just trying to say that Canada isn't all sunshine lollipops and rainbows like everyone thinks.

It's true, Canadian cities aren't all roses, but really, Toronto is one of the safer cities in NA. Most US cities of similar size or smaller (roughly) have higher rates of crime (homicide, theft, etc.). Not a bragging point necessarily, but if we are talking 'gangsta' the US has far more cred. That's how it is mayne.
