is it because you looked at his avatar and it reminded you of some long long nights in prison? I hear one eyed willy doesn't play around especially when that eye is brown...

That bacon looks like the processed stuff you get in pre-packed supermarket sandwiches. I'm used to bacon looking like this.

I also have an incredible urge to take a bite of one of those donut topped cheeseburgers.

That is back bacon. There are a few different cuts of bacon.

Isn't it funny how bacon makes you thristy while eating it?

For more bacon?!

Forgot which comedian said that but he's goes on about bacon for a bit in one of his skits haha.

That would be Jim Gaffigan. His other food-related bits include cake, ketchup, bologna, Hot Pockets, fast food, Mexican food, and Waffle House.

In that bacon/cheese roll picture what cut of bacon is it? I've never seen it before.

I don't even like bacon.

Seriously, I hate bacon. I only eat it when there's absolutely nothing else around to eat.

There's a distinct amount of foliage around that cavern.

Quite an amusing photo.

Same, people talk of crispy bacon but I have never had or seen crispy bacon in real life:( I am incomplete. If I try cooking crispy bacon it just ends up burnt and orrible, Tyson my dog likes when I try and cook crispy bacon though as he gets it all.

LOL at Stevie Wonder!

That asian pic is an awful rofl!

Porcupine+Tree+coldplay+are+wankers.jpg

This is the best picture on the internet. Period. That's Steve Wilson from Porcupine Tree holding up a sign a fan put on stage saying "Coldplay are wankers."

EDIT: Looking at the last few pages this is not nearly as funny. :( Dammit, but if you dislike Coldplay as much as I do its great. But damn the last few pages had me crying.

I enjoy Coldplay, but I LOVE Porcupine Tree, so I'm at sort of a disjuntive (sp?) here.

Damn. English people are weird. JK

But, all I know is that the bacon in that picture is from "pork belly." What would it be called? Belly cut.. ? I really don't know. But it is delicious.

It's you guys who is weird: ;)

Wiki
Bacon is prepared from several different cuts of meat. In the United States, it is almost always prepared from pork belly. Elsewhere, it is more often made from side and back cuts, and bacon made from bellies is referred to as "streaky", "fatty", or "American style". The side cut has more meat and less fat than the belly. Bacon-cured pork loin is known as back bacon.

If by weird you mean not wasting any of the pig and not taking meat away from the tenderloins and roasts, then yes.

And we do have it in the US, but we call it Canadian bacon. The problem is that Canadian bacon and ham have such little difference that most people think Canadian bacon is ham.

I'm sure none it goes to waste here either ;) The Danes keep us well stocked in Bacon. In fact, British bacon consumption probably keeps the Danish economy afloat.

We still get streaky here, like 'Canadian', our Bacon is part of the belly plus some nice loin as well.

Some of it comes down to definitions too. What you'd call ham, we'd probably call Gammon (Usually served warm) For us, ham is generally cured, cooked and served cold, sliced thinly.

The only warm ham we have is if you get it freshly cooked otherwise it is cold.

That's ham. Salt cured country ham is the best. It can be 50 years old and still be good.
