That isn't funny. That's sad. Even sadder for me because until now I had no idea who he was. RIP. :(

@ FrostyBoys

I think someone already posted that for a heads-up (not that I'm tracking or anything :sly:). Also it isn't really funny, more of a sad serious atmosphere.

The man on the right invented Unix and C programming while jobs bought the ideas from inventors. Without the man on the right we would not have the windows we know today and use. In lame man terms you'll be playing with computers that are large as a desk and weigh 300 pounds and if you are lucky we might have a graphical user interface to use. Without these inventors(Which Jobs is not since he bought the inventions) we would be in the dark ages.

Thanks for bringing that up, I'm annoyed that that wasn't mentioned at all in the news.

Well, C programmers are not sexy or well known, so of course he's not going to be mentioned.

I assume you mean layman where you've said "lame man"

Also, without Jobs, a lot of the commercial success of new things would not exist. Inventions are great and wonderful, but somewhat useless without marketing and a sound business plan. And I'm sure we would have moved away from vacuum tubes with out Dennis Ritchie, just some food for thought.

It's not that I meant that we would be stuck with vacuum tubes but just as a good idea of what could be different. Yes someone could invent new technology but the Dennis Richie man did a ton for the world and we currently take a huge advantage of what he has helped bring to world. Like the articles say I'd expect a setback in technology as we know it if the man never existed. He did a lot and fought cancer.

"Ritchie was under the radar. His name was not a household name at all, but . . . if you had a microscope and could look in a computer, you'd see his work everywhere inside." -Paul E. Ceruzzi

C'mon guys, since when was this the technology-inventor-coding debate thread? Back to the funny!

To help out your request, ParkourVeyron:

That's easy. Obviously the zombie will become a vampire. Now, if the vampire was bitten by the zombie, then it would become a zombie. It all depends on who bites who :sly:

No, they turn into Zompires both ways.

Either way they become a zombie.

Zombie eats vampire while vampire drinks zombies blood. Outcome? They both die I suppose (well the zombie is already dead anyway but he'll die again).

If a vampire bites a zombie, the zombie will turn into a vampire. But the vampire will be alright as long as he brushes his teeth right afterwards. If the zombie bites the vampire, they will both become zompires, since the zombie doesn't know how to brush his teeth.

You're missing the point. Zombies will always be zombies, a vampire will become a zombie if either situation occurs.

This is really taking the funny out of the thread. Shall we move on?
