It looks like Tennessee is the heart of "American" heritage, a heritage which doesn't even exist. Rednecks never cease to amaze me. You can go there and ask what country their family is from and they'll be like, "Wut? I'm Amuuuurican!"

Why do English people speak English? Apparently English is Germanic but that sure as hell hasn't helped me learn German any. Imo, it's the bastard child of European languages.
