It's funny, but the funny is in the reading of it - the picture is simple context.

I've seen this rule loosely enforced here, but if it's a picture of something and it's funny, shouldn't it be allowed? I've never seen anyone complain, and I doubt a passive-aggressive sarcastic tone will help get the point across. I understand you're a mod, and it's your job, but I would say well over half of the things in here are pictures with text. I don't think the thread would be alive if the rule was continually enforced.

If it's not a picture. Screen capturing it and saving it as a jpg don't make it a picture.

I can try the approach that involves the magic buttons, but I'd really prefer not to.

The thread would be alive. With funny pictures. Meanwhile other threads about funny things that people have seen on the internet would also be alive, when they aren't now.
