(Gatebil was on my birthday and it was amazing! - Sadly Aasbø wasn't there and Ola Jaeger (He drove Aasbø's 86X) almost didnt drive and Waagaard didnt drive too much either but atleast he drove more. But the rest of it was amazing and looking forward to the next Gatebil!)

It kind of depends on what you call interesting, they aren't extraordinary tales, rather just behind the scenes stuff.

Back on the 11th, the Audi had a driveshaft failure in morning warmup. Spent the day with FWD, had to give up. However, the day with the Lotus was much better - both are back at Rudskogen in September. Kai raised the point of standards though... some of the races have seen cases of unsportsmanlike behaviour, and drivers are being investigated (I doubt they know much more than that).

Probably the biggest thing to come out of this year is the new Esprit wing and diffuser built by Maasik Composites:

He also mentioned how relatively low maintenance it is - only doing an oil change between rounds.

That Esprit is amazing, probably one of my favorite time attack cars!
And it looks stunning!
