German Touring Car Championship B-spec car opinions

I'm using the 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II Touring Car (Mercedes) 92' and it just isnt good enough for my B spec racer. Anybody have any opinions on some good cars to use?

I would say the Lexus IS F is worth the money but I haven't gotten to this race in B-Spec yet (1 level away).

What level is your B-Spec? I used the same car on a Level 14 B-Spec and he destroyed the field. Haven't added anything to the car except the correct tyres and he/we had no problem.

I used the Audi R8 for both German races.

Lexus is Japanese, it is the luxury brand for Toyota. Why it can compete in the German Touring Car Championship, I have no idea, but I can confirm that it works.

It's the same reason Vauxhall and Alfa Romeo are allowed, because they actually compete(d) in the DTM. It's not just for German cars, it's just in German.

I'm using the Vauxhall Astra Super Touring. Picked it up used for about 950k. I don't really like Lexus so I didn't want that one. He did fine in the 1st race and won easily. The second he's doing ok currently. He's in 6th on his second try. Spun it into the grass first try so I restarted.

The Lexus works in B-Spec but you'll probably need to add a turbo stage.

The 190 is one of the weaker cars allowed in this event. Modified it should do the job but stock it will not get er done.

I used the modified Lexus and didn't have any issues. I wanted the CLK Mercedes but did not find it until after the race. IMO the CLK is the strongest. At least it was on GT4 as I drove them all in that event both stock and modified and always posted the best laps in the CLK with the Audi TT and Opel Astra ot far behind.

Edit: The Lexus is the only one that is premium and available at the new car dealer.

My driver just finished the last race. I used the Vauxhall Astra and he won each race pretty easily. 10+ seconds on each.

Only thing I'm waiting on now is the FGT.

The reason why the Vauxhall is allowed is because its an Opel. There is no difference whatsoever in the game between the Opel and the Vauxhall, other than one being in Germany and the other being in Britain. The two companies have the same exact cars in the game.

Try Lexus IS-F Racing Concept from Lexus dealership for 750,000 credits. It's a good car, but remember to mod it, since stock one has engine tuning stage 2 installed. Also I fitted a high range turbo kit, although I dont find that necessary, I won by 21secs on 5 laps on Cape Ring. In a moment, I'll do a Nurburgring races

The reason the car is allowed is because it is the right class of car. This race is not for German cars only. You can run any car that meets the class requirements. Including 1 Italian car and 1 from Japan.

The CLK is just a grip monster. Amazing performance. It costs about 1.3 mill methinks, can't remember exactly..

Keep on trying man. I am in the same boat. Race two and 6th but races 1 and 3 are gold. My guy is a upper 23 now so he is getting better. Gotta tweek the settings. Downforce is at 35 and 50. Up next is LSD and suspension. I got the trannie set up tight.

The Lexus dominates with my craptastic driver on Bspec. Loved the 92 Merc on Aspec, but wasn't cutting it with Mr. 'Overtaking is Immoral'. It's only 750, doesn't need mods to win.

I used the Audi TT, added a Turbo; blasted the competition, just got an Alfa 155 going to give that a spin right away, looks so beautiful I must say, and those exhausts look more like cannons x]

The Lexus concept is just one of my favorite cars, looks great and sounds even better, just won another one :>). There is a CLK in my UCD and I am thinking hard about picking it up as I have some credits burning a hole in my pocket, too bad it is just a standard car Just picked up the CLK, boy is the detail around the wheel wells atrocious, goin out for a test drive now.

I have a maxed out R8 in white that destroys those races.

Bought it because I love the R8, and was just happy chance that I could use it in a A/B spec race.

I've got one but the only car in my entire garage that it will let me enter is the A4 Touring Car. Its got 590BHP but my driver is doing nothing. Currently sat in 10th at the end of lap 2 on Cape Ring.

It doesn't have to be German.
The Alfa 155 isn't German either.

However they competed in the DTM series which is the German touringcar championship in the 90's sourch

In 2008 (or something) Lexus was planning to compete in this series aswell but desided not to. There for there is only a concept racingcar. sourch

my bob is running the cape ring race right now in the Opel Astra Touring Car that's in the online dealership. lap 5 and he has a 9 second lead

My Bob struggled at Cape ring....I had to manage him to win. Here at Nurburgring GP he's losing in the ISF '08.

Edit: I didn't realize the IS '08 wasn't fully upgraded. I'm throwing more hp at it now.

My Bob won the events with an A4 touring car. I used it myself to beat the event in A-Spec aswell. I am very fond of that car.
