Getting credits... is... annoyingly... painful...

My cars are more than 350 now. GTS isn't hard. I thinks it's easier than its predecessors. Though you will get 1 free car everyday by random.

I refuse to grind. If I don't win the 20 mill cars, I just won't ever get to drive them, and I'm ok with that.

Further to this, I'm not going to grind much but if they implement B-Spec then my B-Spec Bob can grind for me.

To get even more crazy... the $20 mil. cars I beleive are Group X so its not like as if they are useful except in one make races.

PD need to put in a GR.Historical class.

I don't think they advertise it, but it does appear that there is a daily % bonus on the league mode at least. I just did a track event that should have gotten me $20,000 but awarded me $37,000. That looks to me is a daily bonus. I may run the same event tomorrow to see if it hits 200%.

This % bonus is for using a car that is below spec for the race you are entering. For example, using a N200 car in a N300 race. This is a good way to increase your earnings and make the race a little more challenging as the AI are too easy to beat as it is.

That goes back to the infamous N1000 class tri-oval race that can be beat in an N300 KTM Crossbow.

Then you can pick up a couple hundred thousand per?

I think there's a bit of a incongruous risk vs. reward thing.

I just did 8 laps around Monza in a crummy Infiniti VGT and I think it only yielded $60,000?

That's almost 15 mins? Kinda not worth it if I wasnt after the gold cup which I got which was hard as hell into this 1,550kg overweight thing.

There's also racing clean bonus as well.

I finally bought the Jag, took me about 3-4 weeks of doing Blue Moon for a half hour-ish a day. I used N400 X-Bow because it’s easier than N300. I’ve won with N300 and gotten a clean race bonus, but it’s not exactly easy. And only about $30,000 more. It’s fairly winnable, but much more difficult to stay clean, which reduces your profits by 50% of the original winning total. N400, clean, is worth $345,000. IF, and it’s a big if, you ran ONLY clean races using an N400 and didn’t get up from your seat and just pressed retry so you avoid loading times, and ran 11:xx per race (I was usually 11:45), it would take you 11.6 hours to get $20,0000.

Yes, I found it a bit of a grind, but I really wanted that car. It’s been my favorite for a long time. Counting loading times, mistakes (resulting in non-clean races which gives you about $295,000), etc - it should be under 15 hours. That’s not terrible. There’s only two cars at $20,0000, so if you don’t care about them-don’t try and buy them. You’ll either have the money eventually or win them.

One last thing to the OP - did you really have to call out ‘Japanese guys’? I live in Canada and know plenty of people that sit in their basement and play games all day. :irked:

Absolutely won’t grind for anything in this game. Already tried the 20mil cars in GT6 so what’s the incentive.
