Wow, I just read this whole thread. I know what this feels like. I mean I'm 14, but never got a girlfriend until December. Before then I never talked to girls, but now I always do. To anyone who has a problem or not brave enough to tell the girl, JUST DO IT.
 
I'll just say three words:

Take the risk!

Stop thinking and do something. If u really like this girl then dont u think it is worth the risk?
