I have a color called frash green that i only have one of. Ive painted 3 cars now, and its still in my paint list. Its awesome as the color is a great hue of green.
You are absolutely correct. My whole paint list is like that. For whatever reason, there not merging paints together. Same thing with the suits and helmets, they are not merging into one when you have doubles. It's because the game sometimes holds 2 counts for the same color.
Meaning you'll have:
Verde Ithaca: 1
Further down your paints...
Verde Ithaca: 5
This means you'll be allowed to use either one of those "2" colors 6 times in a row.
i must have about 30 black paints some x1 and others up to x5 x8 (i cant recall the exact number now). but they are all black, i have tested some and they look the same.
if you sort your paints by name you'll see what i am talking about.
I also have some odd names in some colors, the one that i can remember now is matte pink. i have 1xmatte pink and 1xmatte pin, the "k" is missing for some reason/as 2 different colors.
Last time i checked i had about 1800 colors, honestly if there was a way or if they ever release a patch to fix this number will drop under 1000.
Lewis_Hamilton_Earlier today, I decided to paint my Shelby Series One Supercharged a different colour. I thought I'd try what I think was called "Brilliant white onyx", as it was one of the brightest shades of white in the paint list. On the preview shell, it also showed as being very bright and clean looking, but once painted, my Shelby came out in a medium brown/dark champagne colour. Now I know that the shades between the paint tab, preview shell and actual outcome can vary, but I've never seen a car come out a totally different colour.
I think if they had. Preview option it would help.
Alas it is not to be.
