In San Fierro. Go into Downtown. You can't miss it. It's sort of a Black/Charcoal colour. Look in the sky. It's hard to miss.

I've probably seen it but I don't usually pay attention to the buildings...

I don't reall either. I've passed the Baseball Stadium numerous times and never noticed it. But this sticks out.

Opposite the Valet parking I think... if not very nearby...

yep, its right across the street from the valet misions.. but the door to get on the top is on the other side (south side) of the building.. you have a very small area on top and you get a parachute :)

Anyone know the gold time for the first boat test? I got a 9.775 and I only have silver...every other time I keep getting 10s :\

Stop early. Don't start to stop when you reach the buoys, try to stop so when you come to a complete stop, you are at the start of the buoys. This will ensure a faster time. Hope that helps.

Try hitting the brakes (well, reverse rudder or whatever it is in a boat ) hard around the 6 second mark.

I had trouble Golding it at first. It took me about 7 or 8 goes. I never thought of braking early. Just wasn't thinking properly. Once I realised it, I got it almost straight up.

There's apparantly a Baseball Stadium in Las Venturas.
It's probably just Greenglass College (I think that's what it's called). It looks like a baseball diamond from a distance. But it's not.

I did the boat mission for the first time last night ( as soon as I got there and was doing missions, I had 4 stars...the bridge wasn't open yet ) so the whole time I was going through the water courses, there were jets firing freakin missles at me, and I still passed all the test with a Silver average... :scared:

lol, i did someting like that also, i went to LV but the bridge wasnt open yet, i used a boat, had 4 stars i was like wtf as i didnt know whats goin on. lol

Yes there is a small baseball stadium in LV--- I landed a helicopter on it-- I think there is a shovel in one of the dugouts too

and you were just saying that the Vice city and San andreas record book was off topic :guilty:

The Record Books are more formal. These are meant to be on-topic, but a little drifting is okay, as long as it doesn't go too far.

Anyway, I think we should keep on-topic.

Whereabouts? Over 80 hours played and there's still stuff I haven't found yet. There's huge areas of the map I've barely visited like the whole countryside north of Los Santos.

If i cant beat them, join them.

Ive played 87 hours and only now am i starting to know my way around and where things are etc. I saw the baseball field in LV when i was looking for horseshoes. Never been back. Amazing though 87 hours and only now am i starting to know SA like i do with VC.

I still don't know San Andreas near as much as I did Vice City. I reached a stage in Vice City (as probably all the regulars here did) where I never needed to consult the printed or ingame map for anything. I just knew the city like the back of my hand. But San Andreas is so bloody huge that I still have to pause the game and check the map every so often to get my bearings. I keep finding myself going completely the wrong direction. Especially in Las Venturas with all those confusing freeway intersections.

It just goes to show you how enormous the game is when after 80 hours you still get lost.

Has anyone here ever played Morrowind? It's a PC / X-Box RPG. It's the only game I've played to rival San Andreas in terms of having one enormous gameplay area to explore and freely roam around.

KM.

i know what you mean in VC i know it like the back of my hand, but SA i know the general direction but not specifics

The Baseball field is directly north of the Venturas Airport, you pass over it when your landing and taking off from there.

You're right about comparing it to Morrowind in size, that thing was huge.
Ay least you don't have to put up with those annoying Cliffracers in GTA.

Finnally got all gold in all the tests, that braking test in the boat school was getting on my nerves, but I managed to pass it after lots of close calls...

Oh the other test that's been bothering me is the one in boat school with the big jump...I got silver by holding up the whole way...anyone know how to get gold on that?
(Oh I just finished the storyline today, so yay me!)

well done, as for the jump just keep the boat level, sometimes it goes up too far, and make sure you have speed

That one took me a few goes. I ended up heading out towards the Gant Bridge until I had about 28 seconds left on the clock, then turned back in and motored towards the jump. Hold the analogue stick down as you leave the ramp, just make sure the front of the boat doesn't raise so high that it actually kills the jump (wind resistance is bad, mmkay).

Or you could try the tip suggested in the School FAQ at GameFAQs.
"In the boating school on flying fish a good way to get your distance is to
pull back on the left analog stick as you leave the ramp. Then in mid jump
push and hold it forward. Tis add distance to your jump and you skid the
water for some extra distance."

How many of you have Gold'ed the Motorcycle Jump and Stoppie test??? Me and my buddy did it countless times. I got a 94 or 95% and I gave up. Then he tried it again yetsterday and he got it on the 5th try! That is the hardest test i've done.

Oh, and i'd just like to express my Hate for the SuperGT.... that is the biggest waste of polygons i've ever driven. I'm getting close to Golding 'City Slickin' on the driving school. I've gotten 100% but had 5% damage. I hate that Piece of S**t car!!!
