Sorry guys, I felt asleep :indiff:

Now that I have learned the car a bit I would be interested in running it more, but I cannot commit to another night. I would be a tentative. Maybe a pre race or post race sprint on the same track Saturday, not for points?

Of all the races I've run in ARL... this was definitely one of them.

I really enjoyed the combo without my mistakes i felt i had the pace for a top 5.

That being said is there any interest in possibility a bi weekly series with these cars?

If so what day of the week works best for everyone?

No. Car is fine....just.....no

I was starting to like the car and its nuances. If you can drive that bad boy i imagine you’ll start to master the throttle control on just about anything. So my interest would be to sharpen my skills (and probably to learn a few more four letter words). Prob Monday or Tuesdays for my vote.

This is the spirit! I would vote Monday as well.

Lol you lost your damn mind

On the heels of last weekend's Wildcard race, Ben Dover, of Inside ARL recently caught up with the team from WAR. It was an interesting conversation to say the least….

IARL – so you guys have had quite a run thus far this season. Your third season together really seems to be coming together!

@Stryker13 (aka Spyderpig) – Yes. Things are coming along nicely. My recent runs in the gold division have exceeded even my expectations.

@scarecrow937 – things have been improving season over season for sure. No complaints here.

BPeacock – We’re a team? How did that happen!?(we notice BPeacock has a bit of a slur as he takes another shot)

IARL – The Citroen. Tell us about that. How did that come to be?

Scarecrow – I actually noticed it in the car list. Wondered why no one had ever chosen it.

Sypderpig – We did some testing, we all liked how it handled. Apparently however we should have done some longer runs during our testing. Fuel consumption is a real issue.

BPeacock – (falls off his chair drunkenly, looks up at the group as he awkwardly climbs back up) love that car. Love all you guys. You guys are the bestest friends I could ask for for. Love you guys! *farts loudly*

IARL – well that’s a little awkward…..

IARL – Turns back to Spyderpig and Scarecrow, talk to us about last weekend’s race.

Scarecrow – (snorts) no comment. Just glad its behind us. Hate that car.

Spyderpig – It was great to do something different. Had a great finish. (admires his second place trophy - this reporter can't but wonder who carries their trophy around with them).

BPeacock – (sitting on the floor, gave up on climbing up the chair sipping another rum) Cheers to you ****ers! That Maclaren is the best car I’ve driven!

IARL – ummm that was last season’s car BPeacock…..

BPeacock – oh yea! The Citroen. I’m gonna *hic* rock that car this weekend! *buurrp*

Scarecrow – rolls his eyes….

Spyderpig – does the same….

IARL – sooooo….heavy rain forecast this weekend at Redbull anythoughts?

BPeacock – starts off on a rant - Ballast! Whose idea is that anyway!? A guy has one podium finishishish in his life and all of a sudden he has ballast. Freakin’ BOD. *hic*.

BPeacock- and another thing!.........peacock starts slurring incomprehensibly and eventually passes out.

Scarecrow and Spyderpig look at each other and shrug. They seem to have seen this all before.

Spyderpig - well at least he can paint a decent looking car...

Scarecrow - and he's a great team bartender...we just gotta teach him to stay out of the rum....

IARL – well there you have it folks. 2 prominent drivers and….BPeacock. There’s always one in the crowd.

Post Race coverage of racing at the ring to follow next Monday.

I'm in!
I'd have to vote for a Tuesday though, I will most likely bow out of any Monday series in the upcoming months.

I’d like to join this racing league. What do I need to do to get started?

Add the three main hosts on PSN, names are SydViscus, PApunk924 and Moby45.

Choose a car from the car list, make sure you set it to the BoP listed.

Once you've announced your car tagging the three of us you are good to go.

Each week you can confirm, be marked as tentative or if you think you'll make every race you can auto-confirm, which means you wont have to confirm each week, you will be there unless otherwise stated.

Welcome to ARL!!:cheers::cheers:

Thanks for your interest. Please head over to the Gr.3 Hub and pick out the car you would like to drive. Your BoP settings will be at the bottom of the thread. Any car Highlighted in red is not available.

Once you have made your decision please post which car you will be using here in this thread and we will get you added to the grid.

Also, when you have time please read over the rules and regulations on the first post of this thread to familiarize yourself with the series.

Thanks!

Cool! Read through the rules and driver hub info linked at the top of the forum. Pick an available car and tell us here in this forum. Add @SydViscus and @PApunk924 to your PSN friends list so you can see the lobbies on Saturday. Check in or auto confirm here in this forum on Saturday afternoon and to see which lobby you will be in.
In the meantime look for practice lobbies at Red Bull Ring in the rain. I am sure there will be some in the evenings.

Thanks for the help in getting started!

I’d like to race with the Mercedes AMG ‘16 car.

I’ve read over the rules and regulations as well, seems straightforward, look forward to this Saturday!
@SydViscus @Moby45 @PApunk924

Got you marked down for 1 Mercedes.

Like @SydViscus said, add us to your PSN friends list and keep an eye out for practice lobbies during the week.

Is the RBR event going to have HEAVY DAMAGE set on? I want to test as much as possible with others. I feel the pace is going to be way different racing then just running solo laps.
Look for me to have a room up each night this week to really figure out racing in the rain.
When you think about it its almost like the nascar boys racin’ dirt today. Same but different skill set. Gr3 in the rain? Ill join you most nights in those test rooms...

Nuthin’ like starting with us on a ‘unique’ night. Redbull in a gr3 in the rain. The prowess (or lack thereof lol) you’ll see this weekend is NOT indicative of a normal race night!

welcome!

To go with something you said in an earlier post. I am all about updating my skills with these hard to drive cars or hard to drive conditions. You can only get better.

I most likely will join a few practice lobbies also.
